Gotta be my FAL. It don't break. 0 -
My favorite is a toss-up between the 1937 issue 257 Roberts or the 1960 338 Alaskan (Both M70s). Kind of depends on if I have lighter or heavier game in mind. 0 -
Mine would be my Remington 673. You can see a picture of it by clicking on my lick below. Although I just traded for a new rifle that could become my favorite and I get to pick it up tomorrow[:D]

Sometime in the next few days I'll be picking up a Savage in eithr 223, 243, or 25-06. I have a 6.5-20x50 in mind to top that with.0 -
I can't really pick just one. I enjoy them all![:D] 0 -
Recently, I've put a few hundred rounds through a Marlin Golden 39A that is the only new rifle that I've bought in the past 10 years. I really wanted a Marlin lever action when I was a kid, so bought one when one of the local shops was having a sale. High quality and fun, but, a little on the heavy side for a 22. In hindsight, I think I would have been happier with an older model without checkering. Still one of the best 22s available. 0 -
Remingotn 722 in 308 topped with a Leupold VXIII 3.5-10X40AO.
dcloco: Any idea of what caliber your yet to receive rifle started life as?

My Costa Mesa AR-180. 0 -
My current favorite is a T-99 Arisaka.
It's a fun project gun that, when done, will probably be my primary hunting rifle.
Maybe when (if) I finish the thing, I'll break a long-standing rule and post a pic of the dang thang.0 -
...favorite, favorite,..uh I guess my Browning Medallion in 06...[;)]

I'll stick with my Mini-14. It never fails and as ling as you know its limits you'll never be disappointed. 0 -
Found a complete M40A1 in Tulsa, at a former well known 7/2.
But the breechring is cut into 5 pieces, and is missing about 8" of the end of the breech.
Currently looking for that last 8 inches to have it rebuilt for at least a subcal, or total reactivation and registeration.

good god man . . . . what is the calibre.
i know it is a recoilless rifle but they were phased out long before my time
also what are the grey cartridge looking things?0 -
[8D]-Well I don't shoot it as often as my Rem 700/WBY 22-250, but this is still my favorute--
--Weatherby MK 5 257 mag-very accurate
-It hurs a little to shoot from a bench, but after about 5 shots the BBL is to hot for any more accurate shooting--
