My Brother and I want to tell you and all GB members how happey we were to meet you and Larry yeserday. The honey really sweetened the visit.
For all: I had to take my brother to Birmingham yesterday and had some free time after his appointment so I thought a side trip to Locust Fork would be in order.
Let me tell you, Kasey lives out in the sticks!! I mean WAY out in the sticks!!
Wasn't all that hard to find since she did give pretty good directions. We met with her and hubby Larry for a very short visit and back on the road home. As a parting gift, she gave my brother and I a jar of honey. What a sweet thing to do and it was really appreciated.
If I have to take brother back, I intend to take several guns by and have her sell them for me. I would have this time but had too short notice to get anything together.

Checking up on the 15 yr old's Myspace crap. It takes a lot of digging to do it right. I avoid it until I just HAVE to see what she is up to. We've taken it away three times and she keeps sneaking on there anyway. You just can't win these days with teens (not that I ever thought you could.) 0 -

0.0.0.0 www.myspace.com myspace.com
She won't be able to get to myspace from that computer until she fixes it.
Change the 0.0.0.0 to 72.14.207.99 and she'll get google instead of myspace.0 -

We have gone to all kinds of trouble throughout the past couple years with the computer and this girl of mine. She started out just having an open myspace thing and of course I checked it and it pretty much had "Hi my name is ding-head and I live______ come get me pervs." So we went all through the what you can and can't do on there. After a short time passed I was checking up again and found she had "freinded" a nut job boy that was VERY young, very GAY, and liked to post stories about other gay boys he was having affairs with....along with little tales about people he MET in person from the computer (not cool.) So we went through the whole DON'T FRIEND PEOPLE YOU DON'T ALREADY KNOW thing. Then......another bit of time passed and I decide to check on things to find she has a secret profile that I had no idea she had. This second one has background pics of victoria secret models and music playing that made me so mad I went and got her out of bed (almost by her hair) to show her what I found. We took it away from her completely at that time.
About 6 months passed and that is when someone at work told me about seing her myspace page......hmmmmmm,really. We went round and round. She was punished for having it and she showed me where everything was old info and really old posts where she had done it in the past. Teenagers are sneeky little emotional psychopaths. You cannot IMAGINE the crap you are going to go through if you have younger kids. The only good thing about Myspace right now is that I get to dive into the stupid little world of theirs. You can go into the profiles and look at pictures of everyone and read little messages from each other. They are rediculous.
Since my daughter's best friend moved away and we all miss the little girl (a lot) I let her on Myspace to keep in touch with her. So here I go with the monitoring again. My daughter has a new boyfriend she wants me to meet.....(wonderful!) My plans are to ask him what is that SMOKE is he has blowing out of his nose in the picture posted on Myspace......HUH? They aren't very smart critters these TEENAGERS!
Jacob....you know you are a lot smarter than some of the adults I know....so you don't get piled in with this bunch to me.0 -
