Truck Exhaust, what do you think???
Borla, the only name in exhaust.
What do you think about this on mine?

Gibson would be my only other choice.

My opinion....For about 30 bucks take it to local shop and havem cut muffler off and replace with a section of pipe. It will make it have a nice rumble and throaty note. Or replace from cat. back with a 2 1/2 dual set, with still no muffler. Still cheaper than buyn a aftermarket cat. back exhaust. If ya gonna spend money on aftermarket exhaust from such and such company, instead spend it on a reprogrammer for the ecu... then later on when u upgrade tire size etc.. u can set the limits in the ecu for them. U will get about the same amount of power, etc out of the reprogrammer as u would the exhaust kit. 0 -
This is a brand new truck people (500 miles on it). I'm not going to cut the exhaust off and put a pipe in.
I don't want LOUD, I just want you to notice that it's not the factory exhaust.0 -
The truck in my signature has 3-1/2" duals with Xpipe and 3-1/2" Dynomax UltraFlows. It real sounds NICE.Dave 0 -
Do not change it... Use the money your wanting to spend on it for a firearm... 0 -

For EMISSIONS. On the noise issue, try and tell it to the judge, I'm sure he'll issue you a TS chit to go with your whine and fine.0 -

Zulu, I'll respond.
Your goal in life is to get to B from A with the least amount of fuel....
So if you left your 2007 Chevy Silverado C1500 bone stock (4.3L) and travelled 100,000 miles you would have consumed ......5,263 gallons of gas. 19mpg HWY.
But let's say a FlowMaster gained you 1.5mpg....you would have saved 501 gallons of gas.
The muffler pays for itself.0
