That takes a lot of hairs. Common criminals demanding rights. If we
tried this in Mexico we'd be thrown in jail then deported. My brother-
in-law has been waiting over ten years to get into the States leaglly.
He still has another 10-12 years to go. I have no patients or a soft
spot in my heart for any one in this Country illegally. Our elected
officials need to start doing the job they were elected to do. This is
our Country and we shouldn't have to be dictated to by illegals who are
    nothing but common criminals.

Unfortunately, I don't think we've seen the end of the lunacy with regard to illegal immigration--from this president or the next one. Where is Teddy Roosevelt when we need him?

Meanwhile self supporting Americans are saying the same thing.

I saw this story on NBC news tonight. Some illegal spokesman actually had the nerve to say that congress wasn't doing enough for the illegals. Yea, got my pity vote. I just did my taxes and saw how much I contribute.

living in los angeles i get to hear hispanics tell me, to my face, that they are taking over america and there is nothing the "gringos" can do about it. i concluded they were right 2 years ago. i cant fathom how they can be mad at Bush. Bush is the best friend of illegal. actually of all congress is. sadly most americans are too.

    newt,

If they want it, they're gonna have to come and take it.

And the last time a bunch of Mexicans tried to take something from armed Americans, they got their @$$#s handed to them before lunchtime.[}:)]

Hell, a bunch of Texans outnumbered lots to little still held them off for days!

EMM,,,,, Are you moving to Texas? What an eye opener your in for if you think your mad now. Do you have kids? If so they'll HAVE learn to speak Mex. and read and write it to pass high school. Texas is a state of Mex. Has been for the last 15 years. That is why the Mexs. in Ca. are up set about. They are behind in taking over their state.

If the illegals are allowed to stay without paying back taxes, does that mean we legal Americans will get ours back that we already paid to support them? [:(!]

What always gets me is when Illegals or "Enemy Combatants" or any other Non-American start whining because his Constitutional Rights are being violated. The last time I checked, the Constitution of the United States of America only applied to those legal citizens of the United States of America. Every one else can pi$$ off! If you don't like it, come here legally, or start a movement in your own country! It worked for our Fore-Fathers.

Geez Bush just can't win. Not only do the american citizens hate him the illegals do too.

I say we arrest law enforcement/politicians for treason, dereliction of duty, and insubordination. Didn't they all take an oath of duty to support, protect and enforce the laws/constitution of this country?
But instead they will throw us in jail.[:(!]

Bush isn't going to DO anything to "curb" the influx of illegal immigrant. He is just trying to figure out some kind of amnesty program that the citizens will swallow without "TOO" much of an uprising.

If he gets them to pay back taxes, especially "back" taxes, he can use this on his way to shoving the newest amnesty deal down our throats.

"Look, the illegals are PAYING TAXES, isn't this good. [:D][:D][:D]
They are contributing to the economy.....blah...blah...blah"

Never mentioning the DRAIN on the economy that they are. Closing hospitals, overcrowding prisons, overburdened school systems, etc. etc. etc.

From a recent AP report, many of the thousands of illegals who marched in Los Angeles "felt betrayed" by Bush's amnesty plan which would require them to pay back taxes.

"Charging that much, Bush is going to be even more expensive than the coyotes," said one protester... coveniently ignoring the fact that we could just as easily sling his mariachi @$$ in prison for breaking the law.[:(!]

It takes big brass ones to march out in public and complain that Bush, of all people, is being unfair and unreasonable where illegal immigration is concerned. Yes he is, but to us citizens, not you filthy little parasites that have taken it upon yourselves to bankrupt this nation and saddle us with increased crime and poverty.[:(!]

My patience is long past gone with these people. Send 'em home. Dead or alive doesn't matter to me anymore.

Be sure you check where those running for the office of President stand in the future. Neither side wants to stand up and protect us because the want the Hispanic vote.

Simple proof that politicians will sell us out for a voting block in a heartbeat. [V]

    Just my take on this:

Contrary to anyone's opinion of GWB, no matter WHO sits in that office, he or she will be lambasted and slammed about for not giving one particular group, minority or the unfortunates carte blanche benefits, forgiveness, amnesty, consideration, perks, breaks, pardons, or whatever. When were "have nots" ever thrilled with nobility?

Blaming the President has been America's national pasttime since this Country was born. Seems to me that all the other elected politicians at all levels throughout this Country ought to get up off of their butts and tackle as much of this issue as they can locally even if Washington D.C. moves at a snail's pace. But they claim they can't without the Feds and prefer to use haplessness as an excuse. And so, the beat goes on and we continue to pay our taxes and more and more goes to those who are parasitical.

The older I get, the more I don't want to get any older.

There are so many special interest groups(including us) that want their agenda on top, that nothing positive seems to get accomplished for Our Country.

I no longer wonder how to fix it, I now think it can't be fixed at all.

Can it possibly be corrected with violence ??

I'm all for the guest worker (amnesty) program that lets them work here for 2 years.
At the moment we have about 9 million illegals here and we have no idea who they are.
If they come forward to register for this amnesty program not only will we have their names, but a photograph, fingerprints and possibly a DNA sample (that could clear up a lot of unsolved crimes).
Gonna make them real easy to find and deport when the 2 years is up.

.280 freak - They were being kind to me. This immigration issue really
gets me fired up. The best one was the death of the two young ladies
in Virginia Beach and the way the chief of police and mayor are trying
to be politically correct in their response to the citizens.

The SOLE purpose of the Federal Military....to prevent invasion of the 50 States.

Before you all go pointing fingers remember the Pentagon allowed the US to be invaded and not one single General ever stood up or resigned because of the policy they have of doing......nothing.

America's military leaders are morons. We don't need someone like Roosevelt, we need another Truman.

Codifed into US law....American Loyalty Oath....via President Truman. If you ain't true to this country....ta heck with ya.
