What Movies do you wish they would make?
Mine are:
Last of the Mohicans was first of a trilogy about the American frontier as it moved west. I wish they would continue the series by next making The Deer Slayer showing Natty Bumpo as a middle aged man in KY. The final movie would be Bumpo as an old man in The Plainsman.
Master & Commander was basted on three of a 25 book or so series. There is lots of material left to make another move.
Another movie having Val Kilmer play Doc Holiday.

I'd like to see a movie made about the Battle of Antietam, the bloodiest day in U.S. history 0 -
Not a movie, but a good miniseries -- Terry C. Johnston's first three books about the 1830's fur trade, "Carry The Wind", "Borderlords", and "One-Eyed Dream".
A decent miniseries about the settlement of Kentucky -- Boone, Kenton, Stoner, the others -- would be great.
I'd also like to see a really good movie about Manfred von Richthofen, the "red baron" of WWI. I saw "Von Richthofen and Brown" when I was a kid, and loved it, but from what I've read in recent years it wasn't overly correct as far as the planes used and the way certain people were depicted. Love to see it again, to judge for myself.
A good movie about the Flying Tigers of early WWII would be a must-see, too.0 -
Brokeback Mountain starring Rush Limbaugh and Tom Cruise 0 -

Oh boy... what have I gotten myself into now... Let me explain my way out of this.... the answer is NO, I would NOT like to see that movie, but at the same time I wouldn't want to be stepping in/sitting other peoples' puke when the next movie (other than that one) aired.
Update, my wife (female of course) just came in and gave me a beer and a kiss. [;)][:D]0 -
A likely story. 0 -

LOL! I started an entire post just for you... and we like horror movies... I guess you could call the one you suggested a horror movie... but not the kind we're into. [:D][:D][:D]0 -
i think a good movie about captain james cook would be cool. he had a very interesting life. he fought against the french in canada in the late 1750's and early 1760's and then he went on his famous 3 trips. he sailed all over the world, discovered hawaii, sailed north of the artic circle, south of south africa. pioneered the cure for scurvy.
today hollywood would cast him as a villian but i think he was pretty dam cool.0 -
Gotta see Return of the Living Dead if you like scary movies and like to laugh. Lots of black humor 0 -
