Leeching in-laws
My wife just got taken for $200 dollars by her leeching family. We have been up and down this road for the 7 years we have been married. She was doing well but has slipped back since her grandmother came down to live here.
My wife just doesn't get it. I yell, I rationalize, I do tell her to use me as a excuse not to give money to them. Yet if I want to buy a gun or something that I want, I'm the bleening bad guy.
How do I fix?

...I am sure NOT the one to comment on a "marriage" problem(?) been there done that many times, but I did learn a little thru it all; as I am NOW (finally) smart enough to realize that if I am not happy, I am not going to make who I'm married to happy, vicie vercie here...and everybody needs to be happy when married.

Just where in the hell was I whining? I asked for advice that is all. What, folks can't describe a problem to see if someone has a angle that I haven't thought of? Seriously get over yourself, I'm not impressed with your "I'm such a big man" act. Also, when did I ask for sympathy? I only asked for suggestions I'm such a big puss huh?

Been through this with my fiance',.......she is great otherwise, but will give money to her ADULT children, that are lazy bums! Makes me crazy, as I am the one that brought her out of bankruptcy, and taught her how to handle money.
I did not lose any of "mine",.....but I don't like to see her be made a fool of.
I had a "talk" with the offending persons, and pointed out all the times that they had promised to pay it back,........not a cent ever came back.
I told them to never ask for a penny, unless someone was dying, and I told her, if I ever caught her making a fool of herself again, after all that I have done for her, that we are finished.
Seems to have worked![;)]
OBTW,......I handle ALL finances.0 -
