Woman, 19, Suspected of Statutory Rape

A 19-year-old Lincoln woman has been arrested for statutory rape for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old boy in her car.
According to court records, on July 22 the alleged victim and two other boys were riding around with Tiffany K. King, 5130 W. Elba St., in her purple 1997 Plymouth Neon.
When King stopped the car so the alleged victim could get a bag he had left behind, she allegedly told the other boys, "I'll rape him if he doesn't have sex with me," according to the arrest affidavit.
Around 9:50 p.m. they allegedly drove to a park in Air Park, where the two other boys allegedly got out of the car to go skateboarding and King allegedly had sex with the 14-year-old boy. One of the other boys allegedly saw them having sex.
King and the boy allegedly had sex again the next day around 11 p.m. in the Arnold Elementary School parking lot.
She was arrested Thursday on suspicion of first-degree sexual assault.
- How does a case like this strike you guys? I have noticed a bit of a double standard with juries when it is a boy who is raped. Would be interested in your opinions. Be honest!

Our completely liberal judiciary system slapped a teacher pretty hard for that action, a few years ago.
I was in that position at 15/30.

While I can understand the charges when a person knows their partner in underage, why the bleen doesn't the minor also get punished if they lied about their age?????
I've heard of underage sisters infiltrating bars/clubs with fake IDs, as far as I'm concerned anyone within a bar during evening hours is by definition legal, so the law should come down on little miss fake ID, not on the guy who is fooled by her.0 -

Society on the other hand does have a double standard when males are the "victim".

Of course there is a double standard. There should be a double standard and it should be recognized in law. No matter how hard we try, boys and girls, men and women are different. At least they used to be. 0 -

Dan... I'm talkin about gettin off the bus, lookin down the road to see who "hit the woods" [;)], throwin my books on my bed and RACING to get a fire goin in the wood-stove in my cabin. The husband of the lady who ran it was an "over-the road trucker" and NEVER home. The "MOM" knew right well what was up, but i kept'em smilin [:D]
Their were always at least 10-12 girls there. They had to be 13yo. to go there, and had to be OUT as soon as they turned 18!!!

James is right. Guys are wired differently than girls when it comes to sex. Social influences only make it worse. Got to be tough on girls these days. Supposed to dress and look like cheap hookers, but somehow maintain their virtue. 0 -
There is a double standard although I'm not sure there should be.
But there are some pretty willing young ladies running around out there. I really think each case needs to be looked at on an individual basis and the totality of the circumstances involving each case.
I would be much more upset about my minor daughter having sex than my minor son, especially if it was with an adult.

Since men and women (boys and girls) are VERY different, I see no "double standard," just different standards for men and women (boys and girls) and if it doesn't seem fair, well, life isn't.0 -
it says statutory not forced ,wish i knew her when i was 14 BUT yeah she,s over 18 ,and broke the law. is it his parents filing charges? and was it safe sex? could be another charge there. 0 -
