You know, Kimber makes nice stuff, but I am put off by their marketing, and the proliferation of options and models.
This month, the hot new item may be the Ultra Snaptor Great Googly-Moogly, and people line up to pay big bucks for it. Then next month, that model is discontinued and obsolescent, and no one will buy one unless it is priced at half its original cost, because it has been replaced by the new hot item, the Ultra Snaptor Great Googly-Moogly II!!!!
By the way, I like your pistol, but I would change the grips.0 -

True, True, True.. you guy's know about some of my past deals. Guy wanted to get rid if it and I wanted it, he set the price. I do have some grips in the works and when they're done I'll update the pics. I always wanted a kimber but like others I was really put off by the price and configs (Like Nunn said) but for the money I can afford to put some nice grips on it. I agree also with Nunn. Kimber tends to cater to the folks with the dough, and makes it harder on small time dealers. They have a good product and I own one I use for a carry gun. Here's mine: 0 -
