Union question?

Okay guys; without all the slander, do you think unions in general are a good thing?

Personally in the case of wal-mart I think they are.


What say you about unions?

  Even if true that doesn't mean there aren't a whole lot more companies run by ruthless, money-hungry and selfish people from whom a union is the only protection for the workers.

  Absolutely. Henry was a genious in many areas. These tactics were designed to motivate employees to do more and better work, thus increasing efficiency, and profits. Most, if not all, of the industrialists of his time took a dim view of Henry and his worker freindly policy. Henry wanted everything to be "company", the stores his employees shopped in, the schools their kids attended, the towns and housing they lived in, etc. Sort of a self contained Ford Utopia. Henry Ford, a rare and interesting individual.

  If all employers cared about their employee's the way Henry Ford did than Unions would not be necessary
  
  Oh yea Henry Ford also thought he had the right to go into his employees' homes and make sure that they lived in a way that he approved of or at least that is what a documentary I watched about him said

  I thought the unions had the democrat politians in their back pocket. Why are we blowing are union dues on these Pieces of Work when they do not support protecting America from illegal immigration.
  
  What a pathetic waste of money to Harry Reid, Duckweed Durbin, Baraak Osama, and Mrs. Clinton. COWARDS!!!!
  
  Sure the unions can "Blame Bush" for all there woes, but I gotta say, the ones leading the charge to keep an unsecured border are the Democrats.
