What were YOU doing 25 years ago?
1982
I was married to my first wife, expecting daughter #2, managing a sales district in NYC and providing technical support for a very large OE automotive parts manufacturer.
What were YOU doing back then???

I know what you mean about your old friend. I lost mine last March. I don't think you really get over it, but it gets easier to live with. I have a little Australian Shepherd now. She turned one year old in January. She'll never be a replacement for Sunny, but she's nice to have around. It's amazing how fast you get attached to them.
Take it easy pardner. Looking forward to seeing you on the board more often.0 -

I was ten or more accurately on July 22 1982 I was still 9. I was being lazy, skipping being kept after class, throwing rocks at bottles, riding my bike, camping out, playing Army, making airplane models and doing all the other things I should have been doing0 -
I was MISERABLE, living in California, working a sucky job, and married to my future ex. It was perhaps the lowest period of my life.
Man, it's great to think of how that all changed.0 -

I was 10, living in Houston and going to Welch Middle School. One of the worst years of my life. My mother had just re-married and from that point on she forgot she had a son. I was the fifth wheel until they kicked me out when I was 15. I will never forget the pain they caused me. Im 34 now and still cant get over it. (I know, too much information)
Ahhhhhhhh the 80's[xx(]0 -
Probably breast feeding. 0 -
Working as a Paramedic in central Georgia. In my spare time I was flying Goldwing ultralights.
" Living in a house that I built in the middle of the Maine woods. Same as now."
I like that, woodshermit. I did the same thing in North Carolina twelve years ago. I need to change my name to woodshermit2.0 -
I was married to my first husband, working 45 -50 hr. weeks in
a long term care facility as Rehabilitation Coordinator.
Enmeshed in my patients, working like a dog. I did dress up
like the Easter Bunny that year. Had an outdoor carnival for
the residents. I took a 92 year old to the State Fair, and
he refused to get off the roller-coaster. Wanted to "Go Again!"
Still remember the long line of people laughing and waiting
until I went to the ticket booth. He went a couple more times.
Still have the photo of us dressed frontier style. He chose to
wear a black cowboy hat with a flat brim, black suit jacket,
holding a big gun. I'm wearing a wide brim hat with feathers.
Fun times. Failing marriage, lonely, and putting all my energy
into my work.0
