My favorite motorcycle? That's my 1978 Suzuki GS1000 that I've rebuilt after a wreak almost three years ago. She's old, but no where near slow, I've been clocked at 150 with it, and no, that wasn't the cause of the accident. It doesn't have any fancy wheels, and the Vance & Hines 4 into 1 exhaust is all the music I need. With the drag bars, you feel like superman going down the highway. The gas tank was smashed by the crash, Outback Auto body here in Minot did a beautiful job pulling out the dents and repainting the tank and tail fairing. The color is Metallic Space Blue from the 2003 Suzuki GSF1200S Bandit.

The pics were taken Christmas Eve, I just got done riding her around. The temp was 38 and I only went 10 miles, but that was the greatest ride I ever had, the first time she was on the road under her own power for a long time.

My 1990 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4. It may leak oil from everything that has oil in it. The cruise might not work. The parking brake cables might be rusted beyond usable status. But it gets 25 miles to the gallon, and it starts every time I turn the key. I'm not getting rid of it unless I'm forced to by an insurance company.

Edit: I'm glad to see that my truck made an appearance in Catpeeler's pics.

That one has the 5.4. The picture doesn't really show how red it is. I used it this morning as a decoy by putting it in the end of the field while dove hunting. You can see it a mile away. Birds won't fly over it so they came my way. 6 doves made a mistake today...[xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(]

Grand Sports did not come with or have tail fins as options. This one has the Z-51 sport suspension and the low tire warning option.

Burnouts??? it has factory Goodyear 315/35/17's on the rears... It don't spin it grabs and goes..

The work is slowly coming along on the Ranger. One little bit at a time. The next thing on the block is the rear diff seal. I ordered a rubber one from Jegs, because all NAPA has is cork. Cork will leak after a while, and it's pretty damn fragile if you're not super careful while installing it.

After that, I'm going to tackle the engine, and try to seal it up again. It leaks like a siv (sp?). I'm thinking pan gasket, tappet cover gaskets, and only if I absolutly have to, main seals.

And somewhere down the road is new shift forks for the tranny. That'll probibly happen this summer.

I'm taking it in sometime this month to get new brake cables put on it, and have an alignment done. My cousin, Ben, will most likely end up doing it.

EEP.. Theres a guy on the net that has a fin on one, it looks awesome, its same color, white stripe, looks perfect match, coulda swore that it was an option.. how dare someone do that to a nice car like that, one of these days that car will be worth alot (i see they go for over 30k now, most of them)

You know its a good car when it has factory tires.. lol

Might as well do the mains while the engine is out for the pan gasket, it'll already be half way pulled apart for the mains. You should also do the parking brake cables yourself, you need to learn how to take drum brakes apart.

I know how to take drum brakes apart. I might have to do that to replace the wheel cylinders.

33,000 on the engine and she runs like a top. I did add an oil cooler and electronic ignition. Now she starts first time every time and stop and go city traffic shouldn't be a problem anymore, no more arcing points. You have no idea how hard it was finding an oil cooler adapter for that engine. I ended up contacting a guy in Australia who makes them on the side.
