    509cid with 650 hp, i built one, 440 crank adds a loong stroke

    that little plastic thing that they put in at the factory but falls out of the transmission (70's) and stays in the tranny oil pan for the life of the car, is called a (what?)

    whoops! ford. it was in my FMX tranny pan and the guy at the shop told me what it was. it's a "popsicle".

    soory...did math with 3.75 stroke...bout another?

    (PS last mopar I worked on: 13.75:1 440, .030 over, 67 hp heads, harland Sharp rockers, 6 pack, electronic ign, 677 hp @7250 rpm......
