Marc..or anyone else that loves both reg potatoes and sweet potatoes...

Bake one of both if there is only 2 of you...scoop out the insides, mash em together with a bit of butter etc...stuff the shells with the mashed mixture and serve with butter.....absolutely to die for..

Great with a fresh salad and pork chop..or whatever else you want...

Thanks BR,.......never tried that one before!
I would probably bake them again a little, like a twice baked.
Get em a bit "crispy" on the top![:p]
I'm not picky potato wise,.....I like em baked, mashed, red potatoes in pot roast, etc.![:p]
I don't eat them everyday though because of the carbs.

    Yup. Foil isn't necessary either.

Got it. Well, a new recipe is always good, you never know who you'd be cooking for next.

As for eBay stock price -- I am not a bit surprised [:D]. Sucks, but can't do much about it. Good time to buy.

I know they are much better for you than a white potato, but I never cared for them.

Not much for the "candied" type, as I am not a sweet tooth person.
As weird as it seems, sweet potatos are better for a diabetic, than a "white" potato!
I will admit that it took me a long time to try a baked sweet potato, as it sounded gross, but now I like em!

    Horse-poop!

    You prefer horse poop?[:D][:D]
Oh well, different strokes, for different folks.
I think I would take horse poop over a road killed skunk though.

I'd have to be held at gunpoint to eat any one of the three, but I guess the true test would be to force feed me some of each and measure the three piles of puke. It would almost be worth it to watch you skin and cook a road kill skunk and garnish a horse turd. [:D] I don't know what you could do to make a sweet potato look good.

I'm glad most of you folks like sweet taters. Some of my in-laws make their living growing the things. At least it's legal.

WOW! I looked up 'yams' and 'sweet potatoes' in the links here and in wikipedia. Who knew that there would be some confusion about these tubers. [8)]

    Still tasty though. [:p]
