Along with everything else needed, I'd like to have 100 cases of toilet paper! Not that I'm that full of bababooey, but the TP would make excellent trading material for anything else needed. (learned that on M*A*S*H). 0 -

My basement will serve as the safehouse. Block and poured, about 1000sq ft, I have a sink, shower, multiple tiltout windows at ground level and I am finishing it out. I live in the middle of Indiana, if the sea is raised by 500 ft I should be ok.0 -

..I'm staying right where I'm at. There's enough canned food and staples to hold for quite a while. If I run the generator just for the well pump and freezer, there's enough fuel for weeks. Ammo? The closest any of us might face is a prolonged power grid failure, say, along the eastern seaboard.
It could take a couple of weeks or month to straighten it out. The zombies would stream out of the urban areas to prey on the suburbs.
