sounds like it's your banks fault not wally worlds, this has become a common practice at many other stores as well, if you keep this up you will be boycotting every store/gas station you frequent now

Cause I had a freaking Checking account for 40 yrs and for forty yrs I haven't had a single problem writing a freaking check!!! Never even had one bounce.. Now debit card on the other hand... I used mine @ wally world one time and the next day along with thousand of other people received fraudulent charge from all over the world.... mine $712 in France ..seems WalMart could give a damn about customer security....

We use walley world for some of our groceries and our Drugs, save us $125.00 a month on Drugs, don't know how much we save on food.

Another reason I use credit cards for virtually everything.
First, no fees,........use some other dopes money for free for 30 days, and continue to get interest on mine. If the product is defective, and the retailer gives you a problem, you can file for a chargeback,..........and a in a typical year, I make between $700 to $1000 bucks in cash back!
Just be sure to pay your bill in full every month, and on time!
    Works great for me.

And while I'm at it I totally forgot abot the freaking $678 that I sent on vet bills from feeding my dog Ol' Roy dog food (Walmart brand name) Their Brand but they assume no responibily.... since someone else made it. That like saying Al Capone ain't responsible for the St Valenines Day Massacre since he only ordered it but didn't actually pull the trigger(s)

You can't even buy gas around here with a check anymore.... too many dishonest folks writing bad checks... And I'v yet to have a grocery store do this....But then I usually buy food on the same day that I use it and then I usually just pay cash....

Wal Mart has become an exclusively CHICOM outlet. I will never set foot in another one. I can buy most things on the Internet or in smaller stores. I will not eat any food item produced in the PRC, nor will my dog[V][V][V][V][V][V][V]

Yes, it is. Ol' Roy Dog Food is manufactured by Simmons Pet Food for Wal-Mart. Coincedentally, it's also on the tainted pet food products list.

Yea, WalMart is really a great company. Especially the way they kill our pets and put good old American mom and pop businesses out of business. Those that support WalMart are helping China to kick the crap out of the US economically. Thanks for your support. [V]

i have seen that too, but ol roy is sold by farm supplies, and discount stores for years before wal mart ever sold it

I don't like the fact that Wal-Mart seems to be the US distribution center for red china.

However, this is a free market economy.

Wal-Mart never put anyone out of business - poor management and innattention to the needs of customers does it, as well as failure to flex with the markets.

I've never had a problem with Wal-Mart,......but in all honesty, I don't go there often.
Pretty much WWB ammo for the range, and when I need some new underwear.
Don't do the grocery thing there!
Face it, a lot of what we buy comes in from China, whether you buy it at Wal-Mart, or somewhere else.

No one forces someone to work at Wal-Mart.
All I can speak to, is my area. Around here, the employees are 90%, either seniors that want something to do part time, or need some extra income,.........or young folks just starting out, or doing summer jobs, or around school schedules. No different than who is employed at the fast food joints, or Publix around here.
May be totally different in your neck of the woods.

its not walmart its your bank. For one why dont you use your check card. the sad thing is that walmart is so big with so many customers, that I highly doubt they care if you ever come back.

    Why blame Walmart?...

Blame the bank for charging you for the check and then blame the ppl who wrote bad checks causing Walmart and a few other places to process the check right away....

It stops bad checks and the fees.....so put the blame where it should be...the bank and ppl who write bad checks..

If enough people don't get their heads out of their rear ends and quit funneling EVERY penny they make into that horrible place this whole country will be one giant Wally World from one end to the other. I can just see it now.....Houston looks just like Atlanta which also looks remarkably like Chicago AND Washington.

Most of the mess you get from that place is "disposable" because its made like crap....breaks, shrinks, fades, warps, shorts out and fills our land fills with nearly brand new crap day to day.

I will NEVER see what people like about that place.

I would much rather have ONE good purse made of actual LEATHER....even if I had to pay $300 for the stupid thing than one hundred $10 crappy bags. Its the same with the clothes....towels....hardware...toys....all of it....crap.

And again, why blame walmart....its only giving what the public wants...

There is no way in hell I will spend 300 on a purse, not when I know the same purse is made for a lot less....Nine(9) times out of ten (10)
its only 300 cause of the name thats on it....

I hate to say it but I contributed to bringing Wal-Mart into our community by shopping with checks and credit cards in the Wal-Marts in adjacent counties.

Even though Wal-Mart no longer sells guns here it's too late for the 3 gun shops that went out of business.
