Travis...At The Airport, R&R
We picked up Travis at the airport this morning. First time I set eyes on the boy in 8 months.

Dawnie, Caitlin, and Vanessa plan to hand out flowers. They only had about 75 carnations, but there were 107 returning service people on the plane, so they ran out.

Special thanks to Dave W. for showing up to welcome Travis home. Here we see Dave talking with one of the volunteer greeters.

There were A LOT of volunteer greeters, mostly but not all, veterans.

Vanessa greets Travis. She and Caitlin were so busy handing out flowers that Travis sort of sneaked up on them.

Travis calls his mom. After we got out of the airport, we stopped and ate, then came home.
He is resting now. I had to practically insist on it, since he looked dead on his feet.

I thought about it but didnt realize how the girls would react to it..i ordered 50 and the flower shop donated 25 more then we tied red white and blue ribbons around then and the troops really did get a smile when the girls handed them the flowers and gave them each a smile and a thank you
and those two did a great job handing out the flowers and talking to the troops,,,,,,,,i was very pleased with them they are growing up fast too,,,not as fast as travis has,,,he has turned into a wonderful young man.....0 -
