I was bidding on a set of 223 dies on GB. I was not going to over pay for a pair of 35 dollar dies. They sold for 110.00 When the hell will this end????On Flee bay they sold some for close to 200 bucks. Are people really this stupid to think that a set of dies is worth that much.I will just borrow my dads and stop worrying about it any more. Rant over.

SHINGTON - A quick-acting retiree whacked a teenage robbery suspect over the head with a frying pan, an action praised by District of Columbia police.
Police had been pursuing a red Jeep believed to be carrying two suspects following a reported robbery about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Darnell Gant, 17, got out of the Jeep, took off in another car, and then ran into Gary and Trudy Peterson's backyard in a Capitol Hill neighborhood.
About 9:30 p.m., Gary Peterson, a retired attorney, opened his door to see what the commotion was about and spotted Gant in his backyard. Peterson yelled to police, "He's in here!" before Gant ran into the house.
Peterson grabbed a copper-bottom frying pan and hit the suspect on the head.
"I think he was shocked," Peterson, 62, said Thursday. "I don't think he expected somebody like me to haul off and whack him."
Gant then fled into the couple's basement, where he barricaded himself for 2 1/2 hours before his grandmother talked him into surrendering over the phone.
The teenager had recently escaped from a group home. Gant was charged as an adult with armed robbery. Police said that during the chase, Gant hit and injured a bicyclist and fired shots at police but did not hit anyone.
Cmdr. Diane Groomes of the 1st Police District called Peterson a hero. "And we liked his choice of weapon," she said.
As a public service members of Gun Broker should offer shameless plugs on cookware.
Just imagine if the victim had been armed and shot this intruder. With that kind of statement from the police he probably would have been charged with a felony.0 -

You can't really tell what voice this comment was said in.
It could be jokingly, almost like something out of a cartoon, kinda like I liked his weapon of choice, haha or I liked that joke he told.
It could mean he appreciates the humor behind it, not that he advocated citizens defend themselves with frying pans instead of guns.

I do believe that, in DC, a new bright and shiny frying pan cannot be classified as an assault pan but, when it becomes blackened from seasoning and use it becomes an assault pan. Of course, all pans, be they sauce pans, frying pans, brain pans or even panning pans that have pistol grips, bayonet lugs or interchangeable magazine capability have been banned well before this incident and the use of one of these constitutes the commission of a felony.
Naturally, as we all know, there are few shiny and pristine frying pans in DC so it stands to perfect reason that we have in our midst a terrorist who should be put to death, after a fair trial, of course.0
