Divorce is settled
The EX-Princess gets approx 10-12 acres across the street. She is responsible for her OLD tax bills and personal debt. I keep my farm and all my tools, guns, posessions and toys. She goes away to find yet another victim.
Avoiding a court fight saved me thousands; but the whole lawyer deal cost me my Rolex Submariner.
Should I wait a while to go into my "I hate women" phase? Or; should I start it now to get it over with? Now that is a question that needs pondering for a while.

Sub,
You betcha, bud! Life goes on......0 -
It seems tccox and I had the same choices. He went one way, I took the other. Sorry man. Everyone I knew at the time, including my family, tried to get me to split our assets, but I stuck it out and ended up trading an $80,000 house for a future. 0 -

It's a Rolex Submariner. Currently, they retail for at least $3k. That isn't exactly a Timex.
bpost, I'm sorry for your loss (of the Rolex). On the other hand, congrats on your freedom. When circumstances permit, you can get another Sub.
You obviously have never been through a divorce! 3k is a drop in the bucket![:p]0 -
My fat bellied friend BPost treated that women better than any husband ever treated his wife in thios world.
He spent all those years doing every thing under the sun to please her.......
And even I knew she was A HUGE PITA, and would have dumped her about 2 seconds after the marriage [8D]
He's a good person and will do just fine with or without.... but those Chinese chicks better watch out..........0 -
I, for one, would love to hear from the ex wives as to why they wanted the divorce...After all to hear it from you guys, you are perfect, could do no wrong, so why would she ever divorce such a perfect guy????
gag...0 -

Now get a lawyer she dpes not know and make a offer on that land she's got. 1/2 value for a quick sale.
+1, but you dont need a lawyer. A realtor can tie her up. Stay anonymous until closing, show up and watch her jaw drop.0 -
BR, you really wanna know? Ahhh, nope you just bein' loyal to women..You want both sides? I'll give you my ex's email address and let you enjoy yourself..
I'm back for an edit. I forgot something for BR....Gag..0 -
old gunner..
I am not just being loyal to women...I would ask the same thing if it was women who posted in here....How bout the mens side....
It just sounds kinda "fishy" to hear you guys say how perfect you all are, how what a bitch she is/was, you did everything for her yadda yadda yadda...but what is the other side say?...
As always, there is her side, his side and then there is the truth..0 -
My first wife and I both agreed that we were equally at fault and neither one of of should have been married to each other. We were both right too! 0 -
BR, as I said before, you're welcome to her email address...However, I admit I see your point. It's exactly like it is when women run down the ex husbands..And here you see only one side. I'd love it if everyone here could see the other side, believe me..but I went through that years ago and lived through it. Now I'm free and clear, and that's what counts. 0 -

I have never once said she was a beioch, she is short sighted and even her mother said her priorities are WRONG for a married woman. She deceived me. AFTER we got MARRIED she made it known that I would NEVER come first to her. I was always going to be AFTER the grand-kids, horse and other pets. That means she did not understand the vows we took. Plus her 9 month affair really did not sit well with me. But in spite of that I wanted to stay married and take care of her.
As a matter of fact I am letting her live in this house (separate bedroom) until she can get an apartment. I will continue to feed and care for her animals after she is gone. I was a good husband and role model for her 8 grand rats. I just never understood the drama that I was supposed to be involved in. It was not a good idea for her daughter to have four kids by three different dads. But; her piss poor planning was not going to interfere with my long term goals of retirement and enjoying my golden years. I had to suck it up and be a parent when the mom of my kids left. She needs to let her kids be responsible for their children; not us. It is called maturity and responsibility. Some gain it some never do.0 -
I gave my ex our house, land and car (all paid off) and escaped with my truck, guns, tools, retirement (military) 1990 HD FXRS and my sanity. She said "You were never there". That must be why she moved her boyfriend into my house while I was deployed. I think she was just a drunken sister![:D] 0 -
bpost..grandrats? Number one? Is that the way you saw her grand children? Is that the way you saw her love for her family? Never mind, but I think I'm more than ever seeing things as Black Roses does.. 0 -

Terms of affection I always call kids rats, curtain climbers, crumb-snatchers, ankle biters and what-not. I saw the love for her family as being fine. But when it excludes the husband by design it is deception, pure and simple. SHe had even promised to move back to ALaska, then a year after our wedding, she said NO.0 -

Amen to that Nunn. My one and only big "D" didn't cost me a dime. She left and I kept my son, my house and my retirement. I am now remarried to a great woman and am in it for the long haul.[;)]0 -

B, she's still in your house? Are you F-ing crazy? Oh, hell no. She's gotta go like yesterday.
BP, you are right. There are 2 sides to every story. No matter how good we look, how much money we make, no matter if we saved the world from certain destruction; there is still someone, somewhere who HATES our guts.[:D]
I was single for 33 years. Had numerous relationships. Heard all the stories of how he was an a-hole. After about the 30th time they went in one ear and out the other. Hell, I can even see why my wifes' ex would leave her.[:0]
You women gotta accept the fact that the man you marry is what you get. I haven't met one woman who doesn't try to change a man. And I haven't met one man that can understand why his woman changed.0 -

What did it do besides keep time??????0 -
Yeah - still in the same house - there's just something wrong about that - even
here in Kalifornia. [:o)]
... and to complain that a divorce cost you as much as a watch ... makes me smile every
time!

NEXT!!!! [:D]
Hmmm. Don't know how wise "Next" is.
It is almost a miracle to find a person, male or female, that doesn't have the basic selfish attitude your ex has.
Be single and have a special friend, or two, or three!0 -
I am with Mateo, you are not looking for miss right, just miss rightnow. 0 -
Freens wiff benefits.[:D] Hard to find but worth the search. Easier to find the older we get.

A real man always has a good wrist / pocket watch and a pocket knife on him at all times. My Dad says you should also have a CLEAN hankerchief.0 -
For the next time around, remember this....compatibility is the single most important element in any relationship. Those who marry on pure attraction alone are in deep doo doo later when gravity and old man time step in. [;)][:D][^]

It keeps time at 30 Fathoms!0 -
That's 180 feet for you landlubbers. 0 -
3k is my standard minimum retainer with kids. If the parties cooperate, you may get out for about 5-7k. Typical with kids is at least $7500-$15,000, if not more.
Remember, divorces are also made in heaven.0 -
The only thing to do now is go bang her sister, her mother, or her best friend[}:)][:D]
Try to get pictures you can send her[:0][}:)][:D]
