What the hell is wrong with people? I saw that thing on Michael Vick on ESPN, and while I understand he hasn't been found guilty--I just simply can not understand how someone could enjoy watching that. As ESPN was doing the story there was videotape of dogs fighting and it just made me sick.
What the hell is wrong with people? How can they find this entertaining? How can any person who believes in any sort of higher power engage in such a thing? What the hell is the matter with people?

they want to see a fight. they want to see dogs fight. the dogs in the ring really do want to fight, but the people there don't care or they ignore the cruelty that goes along with it.
when they train a dog to fight, how many 'normal' dogs did they have it kill? that's cruel as hell.
it can't be kept as a pet, it's a fighter, when its fighting days are over they either kill it or just leave it tied somewhere to die.

Not much dog fighting where I live but cock fighting is still alive and well. I've never been to a cock fight but a good friend who is a LEO says most cock fight fans are bubbas. He says that the best birds sell for $400-$500.
I don't abuse any animals. I don't shoot any game I don't like to eat: I love to eat dove, quail, duck, deer.
I shoot them and I eat them. I also like gator tail and frog legs. Most country fish reataurants serve gator tail and frog legs. Yum!0 -

Around these parts, bear baiting and 'wild indian (those not
Mission bound) shooting' used to be popular right up to the
1850s ... and beyond for the Indian shooting. Matter of fact,
I believe, the last Federally sanctioned `Indian shoot' was in
1890. My maternal grandmother was born in 1890 - and her

No it's not. People who cause any animal to fight for their entertainment should be shot. Simple as that, and I would gladly volunteer to do it, and mind you I'd have a smile on my face.
