Your level of formal education...

Rack Ops
I'm just wondering how much formal education our forum members have....

So what's the highest level of education you've completed or are currently working on?

GED?
High School?
Associate Degree?
Bachelor's degree?
Master's?
Ph.D?
You get the idea....

Trade schools and vo-tech apply as well....


Since I asked the question, its only fair for me to go first.

My highest level thus far is an Associate Degree in Science. Right now I'm in my senior year for my Bachelor's in Geography

    1 year of trade school then instead of the second year spent 2 years working as an apprentice in the field. I've spent the last 34 years studing in the school of hard knocks. [:p] [}:)]

    Mrs. Plaid graduated third in her high school class. (Only four students in the class!)[8D]

    The school mysteriously burned after the principal had inappropriate contact with another student.

    All the records were lost in the fire. Mrs. Plaid has no proof she ever graduated from high school.

    Thanks, Ray, just like I said: Never wore one to school so what would I know? Did wear a jacket with tails on a couple of occasions--school friends' weddings et al but was always nervous that I'd trip when I squatted to take a dump so I wouldn't advise those on a regular basis. Had a white tie once, too, until I spilled gravy on it. [:(][B)]

    BA in English, Masters in Education. 2 days of law school. On the second day I went to see the dean and told her that I was 99% sure I was not cut out to be a lawyer. She, a Yale graduate, sighed and told me that she'd been in corporate law for 12 years, and that she would never, ever, ever go back. All told I sank about $1500 into getting into law school, but I have never, ever, ever regretted not sticking with it.

    I do believe, though, that education is a wonderful investment. It can never be taken away from you, and by and large it leads to higher earnings down the road. If I won the lottery tomorrow I would quit my job and go back to school for about ten years. I loved being a student.

    Just hoops one must go through. In my experience, the real learning takes place on the job.

    Of the smartest people I know, many of them did not go to college.
