I have seen photo's taken buy a very good friend of mine that was in one of the Special Forces Units in Iraq, week's before the War started. I found them very convincing as to the existence's of WMD in Iraq.
as far as the movie goes,
this is why schools and teachers send home those silly parental consent form's. without them they get sued0 -

??? like i said, had they had consents forms they would have known weather or not anyone was unaware aand they could have excused anyone who didnt return the form back to the school or teacher.
The consent forms are the only way that teachers can CTA "Cover Thier A$$" and if in this case they didnt CTA, they did it to themselves.0 -
My wife teaches school...if any movie is going to be shown that may have any questionable material, a permsission slip goes home. No way any teacher should be showing an R rated movie of any type without permission of the parents.
The teacher and department head should be disciplined.0 -

Three things about this bother me: 12 years old seems pretty young to be in the 8th grade, the grandparents apparently have had a previous go-around with the school over subject matter in classrooms, and exactly how do you screen a 135 minute film in a single sitting of a jr highschool class? When I was in the 8th grade I was 14 years old and classes ran 45 minutes to 1 hour, with the single one hour class being "homeroom". There is just something fishy about this, but of course I was the one who doubted the reports that the VT shooter was a Muslim fanatic! On the flip side I do not feel that R-rated films are appropriate viewing for jr highschool classrooms, and that would include extremely violent films such as Saving Private Ryan or other films with adult themes. 0 -
i was 12 in the 8th grade, just depends on the month you where born 0
