Hey Eric-
I heard you guys are opening a new quarry. This one has some different color than cabinet gorge.
Keep your eyes peeled for some big slabs. I need that darker chocolate/blue color.
I need slabs 8" thick, preferablly 3' wide and around 5' tall.
about six or seven and maybe I could take a run up there and look at what you guys got.
I am doing a see through fireplace that has a five foot tall box that is six feet wide. I want to surround the openings with big one piece slabs. the bed depth is 8" so 10" to 14" might work.0 -
You forget that I was pulling 10+ hour shifts in -40 to -50 windchills this past winter. You tell me that's not a hostile environment. You should spend one week on the flight line and tell me again how not hard some of us "fly boys" work. 0 -

You've never worked in that kind of cold have you? You never warm up. Just try to work along side us for a month and then you can voice your expert opinion on how hard we do or don't work.0 -

There's nothing high class about the chow hall here. Also, it's only really available to Airmen that are still in the dorm and on meal card still. The rest of us, for the most part, have to go with out lunch or supper breaks to cover for the ones who can.0 -

I remember if we ever had the luxury of being in the rear going to the mess hall for breakfast or lunch. Pretty good breakfast for a buck once you got by the rats and cock roaches. The hard part was to find a chair that wasn't worn and and broken to sit and eat our meals. Usually you just had to sit on the floor. ECC could tell you about it. 0 -
