I wanna stay out of this one. This forum is my relief. Where I work in my civilian job there is only 3 of us and the other two guy's are ex-army chopper pilots (They have a combined IQ of about 80). One of my grandpa's is retired AF and the other was Army. My old man went to West Point and I joined the AF (reserves). I'm wore out. I need to go on a TDY (AF style) just to get some R&R. 0 -

dude - your comparing apples to oranges. TIG/TIS is 100% different between the different branches.
for example.....say me. ahh a e-2...would never consider calling a e-4 jerry.....where as the AF will call an 05....E8 whatever...hey wally, lets drink beer tonight...[}:)][}:)]
you ask any NCO in the marine corps, and i promise you that they will have more pride and espirt de corps in 5 hard earned years, than any AF "arimen" in 2yrs [}:)][}:)] (to get to the same "pay grade")
trust me....the respect is much more than grade....
and griping about who knows what a MRE is or isnt?? you BOTH have outstanding chow halls. i pitty the day you step aboard a marine corps installation and taste the "best " they have to offer [xx(][xx(][:D]0
