Why do jerks stick their noses in????
Folks, I asked for help tonight and most of you have been sincere and helpful. But one or two jerks have stuck their noses in with no appearant purpose other than to stroke their own egos or some other body part. Just don't understand

I'm probally one of those folks you're talking about. Sorry that story just sounds very outlandish. If it is true nail that damn cop and that damn store to the wall by any means nessacary. Get a good lawyer and don't stop until you have all of their jobs. 0 -

I treat my fellow man with respect and strongly believe that anyone who treats their fellow man with the disrespect you claim was shown to you...well those people DESERVE a missile up the azz, they simply have no business living amongst civilized folk0 -
Why come here for such advice? IF your story is 100% true, then whoever advised you to consult an attorney gave you the best advice possible.
You could also go up the chain of command at Kroger and the PD until you get something done. Everyone has a boss.0 -

I didnt comment that one, Simply because ends dont meet. One is heading to left, other is going to the right.
When they crash, Ill comment, till then, it smells like something is being left out. . . . . .
what I think went down, was maybe you screamed at the cop?
Not really tolerated as i see it. Stay calm and sit there, he will make his way over some point or another, ever watch the show COPS?

Well, Still, common courtesy, if you called the cops, and their coming toward you, you should stop, not go toward them, how do THEY know your not going to pull a knife or something on them??
Sorry, but i give benefit of the doubt to cops - They have the balls to put their life on the line, along with firemen, and paramedics, beside all US Military.

I'm probably one of the ones you think of as a jerk, because I'm older than dirt, and have heard your story so many times with just the variation of when, where and over what subject.
Every time, when the other side (or video tape in todays world) is known, it offers a much different story line than the original. Because of that, I am less inclined to believe a one sided version.
That being said, the advise I offered was exactly what I would give my own son. Take it or leave it, I didn't push it on you, you asked for it.
After this posting of yours, I believe more than ever, you need to grow up and check the attitude.0 -

I think that depens on HOW they approach you. Fast and agry while yelling deserves a good tazzer.... or baton to the side of the head. I'm not a cop and wouldn't let anyone approach me like that, and I doubt you would either, but that would hurt your argument.[;)]0 -
