I live in Loudoun County in Northern Virginia. So that sort of counts as being in Virginia [:D]

Loko- have indeed been up your way- My step-mom was from where the 3 counties come together near Mabry Mill. Beautiful area. Hey- fellow Virginians! We all should get together at the Chickahominy Wildlife Mgt Area- between Richmond and Williamsburg, just off Rt 5. (Guys in the SW- yeah, sorry-I know, its a long way. VA is a long state) The WMA has a public rifle and handgun range- free, open 6 days a week, no 50 BMG, full auto, or tracers. But Pungo would work for me (as long as I am not on an airplane somewhere else)

I'm from Lynchburg too (just outside toward Bedford). Great area to grow up in -- fishing on the James, floating Balcony Falls, hunting the national forests, and hiking the AT. Sure would love to live back that way one day, maybe somewhere in Nelson or Amherst County. Can't seem to find any Coast Guard billets out that way though.........imagine that! Stationed in Alabama for the time being. It's okay......but it sure ain't Virginia.

As for the folks who mentioned Northern VA and Hampton Roads.......most Virginians would gladly cut them out of the state [;)]
