Biblical Prophecy coming to pass...NOW...
Animal Sacrifices on the Temple Mount to resume as early as April of this year. For the Christians here who know a little bit about eschatology, this is good news...just one more sign of the times we are in. This is an email I received:
Wow! Sounds like a page out of Revelation. It is interesting to note that very recent archeological finds have shown that the original temple site is not exactly under the "Dome of the Rock," but slightly east of it. The research there continues. This may be key to paving the way for the rebuilding of the Temple on its' original site. -CC

'Renew animal sacrifices on Mount' says radical rabbi
Member of Sanhedrin says sacrifices 'were not possible when the people of Israel were in the Diaspora, but now they are.' Adds: Jerusalem Temple should be rebuilt, Israeli government standing in our way
Yaakov Lappin
Animal sacrifices should be renewed on the Temple Mount, a member of the radical Sanhedrin organization told Ynetnews.
In ancient Israel and Judea, the Sanhedrin served as the highest court in the land, and was made up of 71 top judges. Now, a group of fringe rabbis say they have reformed the group, although the organization has received no recognition from Israel's official religious authorities.
"In the Torah there are around 200 commandments dealing with animal sacrifices," said Rabbi Dov Stein, of the Sanhedrin organization. "The Torah of Israel demands animal sacrifices. When the people of Israel were in the Diaspora, it couldn?_Tt be done. But now, there is the supreme institution, the Sanhedrin, made up of experts, and it can be done. The new Sanhedrin, like the old, will educate the people of Israel on how to keep and safeguard the Torah."
'Democracy was not invented today' Stein vowed that "we will try to carry out animal sacrifices on the Temple Mount this Passover, as commanded by the Torah."
Asked if his organization sought to rebuild the third Temple, Stein's answer was unequivocal. "We want to establish the Temple again. Unfortunately, standing in our way is a hostile regime, the Israeli government, and rabbis who for political interest don't want this to happen."
Stein even suggested that Muslims would agree to the project, saying: "The Omar Mosque (the Dome of the Rock), built by Khalif Omar, was actually intended to safeguard the site for the Jews. Islam hasn't always been so hostile. Despite its hatred and massacres against us, Islam sees in Judaism a source and a guide. I think the moment will come that Muslims understand the need to build the Temple and go along with us."
Stein outlined his plan for Israel, calling for a king to be appointed democratically. "Democracy was not invented today, the king is elected from a list of candidates. A senior judge, as was done during the days of the judges, can also be appointed," he added.
However, such practices ended 2000 years ago, Rabbi Doniel Hartman was quoted by the Associated Press as saying.
"Around that time, animal sacrifice, as a mode of religious worship, stopped for Jews, Christians and Muslims," said the rabbi from the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem, according to AP. "Moving back in that direction is not progress," he added.
According to mainstream Jewish thought, animal sacrifices must not be carried out outside of Temple, which itself cannot be rebuilt by human endeavor, but will be rebuilt upon the arrival of the messiah.

Didn't that Nietzsche guy die lonely and insane after alienating all friends and colleagues? 0 -
Christianity, alcohol, power,a pen, drugs, money are not evil. But when men get a hold of any of them, watch out. I think the Bible points this out.Given enough time men will try wiping the human race off this earth, the Bible points this out also. Most Christians know they are no better then anyone else when it comes to doing wrong,( were part of the human race),we just agree with God that theres no good in us. We that believe in Jesus, are waiting for Him to come back and make things right. 0 -
The Samaritan Jews thought that the True Temple was at Gerizum.[}:)]
but...
Jesus taught to those who would listen, where the True Temple of the Holy Spirit dwells.0 -
quote:the hope that some of you may open your Bible and read it and get saved.
Why?...what's it to you if the person doesnt? Why not let ppl believe as THEY see fit...0 -
It is called witnessing. Sort of like seeing your neighbor's
house on fire and telling him about it, before it is too late.0 -
quote:Well, whoop-de-doo! We have been patiently putting up with the same smugly superior attitude here from the resident atheists for years. They tell us we are foolish, misled, that we believe fairy tales. I take offense at that, but generally don't reply.
Nunn I do not try to offend you and when I do I apologize , I really am not an atheist,I do believe here is some higher power that has guided us through all this swamp we call life ,what I do not believe in is the Bible,I can get here on this computer an disprove alot of whats in it,it even contradics itself in many places ,I can not follow words in a book just by faith, especially since it is a fact it was written by men and but together by other men to say what they wanted it to say, they decided what books to include and what books to leave out. God had no say in what was included ,
quote:If you read your Bible Jesus said that anyone who put his trust in Him, would be saved. The best person on earth could not get into heaven on his own. I don't care where you go to church, if you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus in your life your an ain't
this is another thing I ask everytime ,,how could you believe in a loving father , a true God and then think someone not a Christian is doomed because they believe in a different religion,Would a loving father condemn a child that has done nothing in his life but good, fed the hungary, clothed the naked ,housed the homeless ,but did not believe in Jesus so he has to burn forever,,,I just can not believe any loving father would do this to their child who has a good soul no matter if they were Hindu ,Muslem ,Budhist,Jewish or any other religion that does not believe Jesus was the son of God or God himself,,,if Christians who adhere to the word of the bible are the only people who are granted eternal life in heaven it will be a lonley place because no modern Christian goes by whats in the Bible,,,"example when is the last time you killed a non-believer" if its in the Bible why do you get to pick and choose which parts you will follow and which parts you believe are out of date0 -
If God could flood the world and wipe out sinners, then why not belive He could send people to hell? The same Bible tells you both accounts are true. 0 -

I find it hard to believe that a God that can keep the sun rising in the east and setting in the west for who knows how long, can't put a book to gether the way He wants to. Jesus said He was the only way to the Father. If you don't except Jesus as your savior , your no son of God.The babies that die are taken care of by God, according to King David. 0 -

thats the whole point.God did not put the Bible together,The counil of Nicaea did after Constantine became ruler of Rome. This started around 325AD.They decided what was to be Canonized as the word.it was done much in the same way our modern politicians make and pass laws today,,if you let me add what I want,I will let you add what you want type of thing...There are 101 published contradictions in the Bible,,,did God make 101 mistakes or did the men who were creating it ???0 -
Somebody passed along an email to me today where Archaeologists have found evidence of the parting of the Red Sea, when Israel escaped the Egypt....it's quite interesting. I could post it if you'd like...although it would be without the pictures. Science continues to confirm the Word of God. 0 -

What your telling me is the a group of men can override God. Is that right? So lets all get together and make the sun rise in the west and set in the east. I'm not trying to be a wise guy, just trying to get my point across. I'd like to see the 101 mistakes your talking about.[:)[:)][:)]0 -

I in no way mean to imply a group of men can override God,,,my reply was God did not write the Bible at all ,,that a group of men did,,,that is a known fact,,who wrote it and when,,no the only question is "did God command every man in that massive group which book to include in the Bible and which ones to toss out and there were many tossed out and changed" and since we know each and every thing/book in the Bible was voted on and the vote decided what was to be canonized we can surmise that the men in the council of Nicaea wrote/built the Bible. We know through written history that there were many deals made on what was to be included and what was to be tossed,,deals like ,,I'll vote for your passage to be included if you will vote for mine..if God controled the vote then why was it not a unaminious vote on all the correct things.... I am not saying everything in the Bible is wrong,,I am not saying I do not believe in a God,,,what I am saying is there is alot of things about the Bible that is not right and the old saying "the Bible told me so" may not be what God said or even wanted but what a Group of old men wanted it to say.unless you dont believe in free will of man.it is just a book comprised of a bunch of passages written by different men through a period of history not like the Commandments that were written by the finger of God..0 -

Nunn hit the X-ring right there!
Perhaps I have read too much into religion, but what exactly are your options when faced with ridicule for your beliefs?
Kill people?
Turn the other cheek?
Throw dishes?
Well I'm closer to throwing dishes than anything else you've suggesteed.0 -

The books that mainly were excluded by the bishops in the Council of Nicea are known as the "Gnostic Gospels". The reason for their exclusion is that they were written more than two centuries after the death of Christ, and contain many passages that were written to support the opinions of the writers rather than relating occurrences that actually happened. They were excluded in favor of the gospels that were written by people who were present during the occurrences and wrote down what they witnessed.0 -
Yes I am one of those corny Bible believing Christians.
How I lose out in life by giving up all those, what were they again, pleasures.
Sorry, I have a great life, I go to the range many days a week, play violent video games and even help to make some. I have traveled all over the world and did all this while have Christ (Israel's Messiah, O Xpistos) as my best friend.
The reason I know my trust in Christ is the correct way to reunification with God is I do not care if anyone else believe otherwise nor do I beat up people that believe different as God gave each of us the right to choose.
We have the right to be wrong, it is a God given granted right.
You may wish at a future time you had chosen a different path but what ever path you go is on you.
Think I am corny? You confuse me with someone that cares.
Now, this myth that Jews rejected their messiah.
Most of the first century Christians (The word is from the Greek word Xpistianikos meaning a follower of Israel's Messiah) were in fact Jews. These Jewish believers and their mostly Greek brothers in Christ were not included in the state church of the empire and many descendents that are Christian today may actually be Jewish.
Many, of course, later descendents chose not to follow Christ and many (are you one?) are Jews and do not know it!
Anyway, I have decided I will take my Kar98k sniper with a 4x scope for the return after seven years. Hey, the Swastikas are pinged, LOL!
And I do believe there will be Rock in Heaven, Why should the devil have all the good music? I also believe all cars will be German, the food will taste like it has MSG but won't and we can eat as much chocolate as we want and still not gain wait. Why do you think it is called heaven.
Seriously, none of those things matter because we will feel the way thinking that makes us feel now.
Disagree?
Well, if I am wrong I bet I still had a better life. If I am right, well I certainly will have a better after life.
Chose wisely, eternity is a long time!

I have the book of 101 myths of the Bible written by Gary Greenberg, the president of the Biblical archaeology society. I also have a scripture by scripture account of over 700 scriptures that contradict one another.. I would be glad to share this information..I understand some biblical scholars have produced another book that list 1000 discrepencies in the scriptures.. [:0] 0 -

Messiah?
Why would they still be looking for thier messiah to come?0 -
I have my own beliefs, including those which dictate I am not empowered or entitled to judge (Matthew Chapter 7, Verse 1). Moreover, I fail to see how some obscure splinter group can dictate the fate of the world as we know it by their actions, whether in the direction of paganism as we perceive it or as minions of the antichrist.
Eric, while it may elevate you from an egocentric standpoint to assume that you can copy and paste a prediction one way or the other as regards the fate of humankind I will wait for the final verdict, as I know it is not you who stands to judge. I will continue to say that I have found that the best test of a Bible thumping evangelist as to simply ask him what his sins are. Perhaps, assuming you would bare your own soul here in this way, you would have a margin of credibility beyond that ordained you by administration here.0 -

You helped be when I needed help.I don't know what Eric has done , in his passed. I do know that I have broken everyone of the Ten cammandments. So what is gained by finding out what another man has done wrong if the man has already confessed his sin to God.We will be judged on what we have done wrong, not on what the other man has done wrong.0 -
No, the Jews did not reject the messiah. The true Hebrews followed Jesus and listened to his teachings of the religion handed down to Moses. The Pharisees - the imposters, resented the fact that Jesus criticized them for abandoning the principles of their birthright and fingered them for what they were - the synagogue of satan. These were the people who delivered him up to the Romans with the demand that he be killed. 0 -

No Blckhrn...I know the Word and I know what the Word says to look for. It is obvious to most true Believers that we are in the very last days here. The Word says that we will not know the day, nor the hour...but we will know the season. I believe we are late in that season. BTW...I challenge you to find where I've judged anyone in this thread. I've merely spoken truths. I'm also first in line to admit that I'm a sinner...Thankfully, Jesus Christ has paid the price for those sins. I'm not sure where you are coming from with this post.?.?0 -

WulfmannIts no myth, the jews did reject thier Messiah.
That sounds like you are saying all Jews rejected Jesus as the Messiah.
Not true.
Huge numbers accepted him as the Messiah.
Today Jews/Israelis, believe the Messiah is coming, Christians believe he is coming back. At that point Jews will recognise jesus as who he is.
Beleive what you want it is your God given right. But, what will happen happens according to what God wills not what anyone speculates.
We do not know the day or the hour but we know the generation. Many have noted some thought Jesus would return in their time.
However a key sign of his return, generation wise, is the return of Jerusalem to the Jews. That happened in 1967 so what ever a generation is it is somewhere in a time that Jeruslaem is returned to "The" Nation.
When Jesus warned of the coming destruction of the temple and nation he said this:
"And they shall (Jews) fall by the edge of the sword and shall be led away captive into all the nations: And Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the nations until the time of the nations be fulfilled"
Luke 21:24
Choose wisely!
