Does posting on this Forum change you?I mean,would you say something on here that you wouldnt say to a person face to face?I find it hard to belive that people would say some of the stuff in public that they spew here.I guess thats why they dont fill in their profile.

I refrain from posting most of the stuff that crosses my mind and would say to the people I am around everyday.
Something is lost in the typed word for me and it never seems to be received the way I intended it to.
This place is Mild compared to what the guys I am around everyday pull.0 -
I am exactly the same person on the forum that I am if I was face to face with you.
I see no reason to be any different!
I was not put on this earth to impress anyone! And I will not loose any sleep knowing that a person disagrees with me or does not like me for some reason!

I am who I am, and I can vouch for some others here too. What you see of us here is what we are face to face. That being said, I am sure there are some spewers of hate and tough talk that would swallow their tongues before they would say it to your face, and some of them post here. 0 -

I have only made a few mistakes but divorced them. Don0 -
To some of us this forum is a lot like having an extended family which is why one might be more apt to engage in a frank discussion regarding a sensitive subject than they would elsewhere, like at school or on the job.
Sometimes being frank with one another can jump up and bite you on the hiney when it rubs someone the wrong way. Kind of like the situation that Dwayne Chapman finds himself in now due to his son selling a story based on a private conversation he had with his Dad. Essentially, he sold his Dad out to what some might call the highest bidder. Most family folks would like to think that some things said in the presence of family members should stay there. The Chapman case will bear this out as it unfolds.
I'd say that anyone who attempts to label a person as being a racist because they use a certain word might likely be absolutely wrong 99 and 44/100 percent of the time. On the other hand, when a person, or a group of people, are labeled by the better part of an entire nation of 300 million people as being racist, then the likelyhood of that person or group of people of being prejudiced against an entire race based on the color of their skin might well be true based on common sense. Kind of like expecting to find a fire if you see smoke in one particular place.0 -
I, too, have met several members over the years. Every one of them have been outstanding citizens..and some will give the shirt off their backs.
Mind you...I believe there are psychotics posting on here. I don't associate with their type daily, either.
I have meet a couple women that posted...and one that had never shot much over 200 yards took a rifle of mine and proceeded to rack up a 5 inch group at 600 yards...talk about proud !!! That group went home with her...She bought a couple guns at the big gun show and had 'em sent home by the dealer...

I get a lot of anger directed at me. I often think the fools think they can jump through the computer and choke me. Or that some tiny words on a glowing tv screen can somehow bother someone just as if they were standing at my front door. 0 -

it depends on how you look at it, i share my thoughts, and feeling with you guys more than i do others, not because i'm trying to be someone else in person, but some people just are not worth talking to, i basically refrain from religion, and politics in certain company, other than that i tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, and can't help but be me 0 -

I tend to be more quiet here than in person. In person you can feel obligated to say something, without time to reflect. Here, there is no pressure, and I find that others usually say what I think, sometimes better, and sometimes in a way that makes me rethink.[;)] 0 -
