Does posting on this Forum change you?I mean,would you say something on here that you wouldnt say to a person face to face?I find it hard to belive that people would say some of the stuff in public that they spew here.I guess thats why they dont fill in their profile.

    Anything I say on the forum, I would say FTF.
    But there are things I would say FTF, that I can't say on the forum.
    It would get poofed.
    So, I guess it does change me, I'm nicer on the forums.

    I'm the same fun loving guy in real life as I am here, no reason to change who I am and I have no reason to lie about who I am. I would be no different FTF as I am posting here.

    I like kimi and pickenup's answers the best although Highball also hits the mark. In this GB forum we put out an idea for comment. Some of those ideas may be offensive to others. In the real world you might just consider the idea's source and ignore it. In the cyber fantasy world of GB you have the opportunity to make a statement providing that idea's source some feedback to their way of thinking.Beach

    I wish everyone on this forum would behave as though we were sitting around in someone's living room, shooting the bull over coffee or beers, and a few people do, but not nearly all. Some of you would NEVER say to someone's face what you will type in the relative anonymity and safety of the Internet.

    Also, on the Internet, we can all be 6'5" 230 pounds, Harvard educated black belt karate experts, rocket scientists, double-naught spies, and brain surgeons.

    I miss Sour_Mash. There was an interesting character. We don't have enough racial diversity around here. He then again, we might have a couple black people here and not even know it. That would be a hoot to those that have a strong bias.

    I don't say anything here I wouldn't say in person. I actually reply to things less, here, than I would in person. There are things I will only go to the trouble of saying if I'm sure I can get across exactly what I mean and how I mean it. Those things have to be said face-to-face.

    i am the same here as i am in person. i make no claims to be somebody else. i say what is on my mind and sometimes i have put my foot in my mouth. if necessary i will apologize, because i am not afraid to use that word either

    what gets me are the few who have no posts of their own, yet will answer to all others in a smartazz way. then they go and try to make people believe they would act this way in person. to me such rudeness would not be tolerated in person by many here. everyone says its just a forum, the trouble is that a person is typing instead of mouthing, and you can't reach through the computer and tag their azz, which i guaratee would happen 100% of the time in my woods, and it doesn't take a badazz to do it[;)][:X]
