Have they ever determined the cause fer gulf war syndrome... I haven't ever read anything that suggest the Iraqi people have this disease. Could it have been the Anthrax Vaccine. I'd read that it was suspect at one time....
I also read that British soldiers have several cases as well! Several people I know where there too. Ive never heard one of them mention this.... so what is the real scoop on this.... is it just affecting those who where in a certain local. Are some of these guys I know walking around with it and don't know it yet...
Also didn't I read something about GW vets using a lot of new borns around 92 or 93.....

Go do some reading on the Gulf War forum. BTW...the Gov't is admitting that parts of our brains are dying (shrinking as they put it), BUT of course they cannot conclusively link it to our service in theater. Yes a lot of vets had deformed children...and yes a WHOLE lot of vets (something like 60,000 I belive) have died from unexplained illnesses...but it was all in their head too.
I do so much reading on the subject that it makes my head spin!

One time they are going in one direction with causes and the next they are going 180 degrees in the other direction.

I personally think it was a mixture of many if not all the causes they have researched.

Not to change the subject but everyone of my school buddies that went to Nam, save two have now passed...odd thing is that both of them were injured badly within days of arriving there... I recently have been talking to a Nam Vet that was a POW...He is fighting Cancer as well!!!Agent Orange possibly!

That would be my guess!! as every one of them died from cancer.....
One thing I noticed about all of them is that not one of them even seemed to put on much weight their entire lives
except one of the dudes injured early on.. he was hurt the very same day he got there moving equipment from the ship....
the other dude was shot badly but survived, but he to has little to no weight gain over the years...
I find that very odd myself!!!

Agent Orange is still killing people to this day! Had a very good friend die last year from kidney cancer. Got the diagnosis on Friday. Was dead the NEXT Wednesday. He was a cargo loader on planes that sprayed the defoliant. Docs told his family that even after all these years, with that vicious a form of cancer, agent orange was probably the underlying cause.

I feel for you guys, and all of you are in my prayers. Hopefully they can find out something and start treating it instead of making excuses.

Gulf war-Nam-and any other war before them. Even small actions.
I'm from Nam and I figure that the goverment killed me back in '68. I'm to dumb to die. Lots of my friends are dead now,Killed by the goverment most within the last 5 years. I to will die, how soon and why are good questions. The VA has twice given me pills that would have killed me except that I check all meds. from the VA on the computer for interaction with my existing meds. If you don't check yours you should start.

By killed by the goverment does NOT mean (exicuted) but mostly by neglect or stupidness on a VA doctors ability. Untrained PA's and new doctors practicing in the VA. Don't get me wrong I love America, I'd still fight if called on, but I do not trust the goverment one fine partical of dust worth. Sorry have to go I'm getting up set.

According to my (now fired) doctor "nothing on the computer is valid".

for around 20 bucks one can buy a "Drug" prescription medicine book that tells the reactions of medicines, but with all the new junk coming out and just sample testing, it is hard to keep up with. Doctor just gave me some new stuff, It was tested on 800 patients to see what their reactions to the stuff was. Wonder what the long term affect it has on people??

...Buy a Physicians' Desk Reference (PDR). It's what every doctor and pharmacist has on the shelf. It may cost you $75, but you're getting the same info that your doc should be using.
