    try a nice crisp lettuce. fresh cherry tomatoes, a sliced boiled egg or 3,cucumber,a little red onion,some small died cheese,all shredded,dressed with olive oil,on a plate with thin sliced ham,turkey ,tuna or what ever..& of course

    Sorry, BR, but you'll get no sympathy from me for "boohooing" the heat. It's summer, this is what I live through -40 degree wind chills, and the possibility of snow for at least 9 months every year for. I love this weather!!! I love waking up, taking a shower, and being sweaty again just looking for a shirt to throw on.
    But that's me, and I'm not quite right, or so I'm told by some so-called doctors....

    Here's an idea for a meal, though...get one of those pre-cooked rottisserie chickens from your local grocery store, pop a couple taters into the microwave, and slice up some cukes, tomatoes and onions, and throw them into a marinade of vinegar, water, garlic, sugar, and tarragon.
    Voila!

    I mostly still have a cast iron stomach.

    Although, I must admit that when I dump Tabasco on my breakfast of over easy eggs chopped up with a pancake, bacon and sausage gravy - I still get hiccups!
