I worked at a bank for 7 years until we had a child and now I'm lucky enough to be able to bring my daughter to work with me every day and I love it. She learns eveything I want her to learn and she is not around a bunch of sick kids. She gets time to spend with kids at the park and other places so she can get used to other children. I agree, if you can allow one of the parents to stay home with the kids it will definitely benefit them in the future.

We waited nine years to have kids, got the financial ducks in line, and then my wife quit working until the last kid started school. It was her choice, and I would never have insisted, but I'm awfully glad that she did, and I think the kids show the results.

When she went back to work, she taught school (math), and made sure she got a job in the same school corporation that the kids attended. That way she was operating on exactly the same schedule as the kids with the exception of five additional faculty days per year. She could still be home when the kids were home the vast majority of the time. She's one hell of a mom, and each and every one of the kids knows and appreciates it.

It CAN be done, if you have enough love for your Children
