When I first got my bike, I was unable to post pictures due to my camera being at the bottom of a very big lake.
A friend of my was nice enough to send me some pictures he took the day I got it.
When I first started riding I was the only girl in the area. Now I'm one of many. I think it's cool that more and more women are riding now.
My bike is a smaller cc's due to the fact I haven't rode in a long time. Now I'm ready for a bigger bike. I want a 'busa, but I've been given the nickname Gixer girl. Which I like. I don't want the nickname 'Busa girl so I'm in a dilema.[V]
Here's my new found freedom. You guys can't imagine what I had to go though to get this thing.

Nice bike. Not too long ago i myself was looking at bikes similar to yours. I figured however a bigger bike would only go to my head and one around 600-800 cc would do anything i wanted just fine. 0 -

It's hard to hold the bike back in a bikini. All that sun tan lotion makes it slick.
We all went wheeling yesterday. I took the truck out and it was great!!! The thing did really well. Everything was dry and there was 0 mud, but it was fun still. The suspension will beat you to dealth though. Actually knock the battery out onto the ground climbing a hill that had some runts near the top. After that things went downhill. I couldn't get fuel pressure at idiol and it keep wanting to die. If I sat idiol for awhile. If I was on the gas it had pressure and ran okay. It's strange since the pump is electric in the tank. I did manage to drive it home. It still wonders like crazy, but all in all it was good time.0 -

If you want a RZ of any kind, start saving now... they've become collectors items.

I don't know how GS1000S' became Wes Cooley Reps when he was racing SUPERBIKE on a Suzi during the same time period the 1000S was for sale... but everything changes with time.
You can say what you want, but the fact remains that the GS1000S was one of the, if not thee, first mass produced "Sports Bikes".0 -

get rid of that pos edelbrock carb..and put on a 670cfm holley truck avenger..the edelbrock wont take the fuel off camber wasn't designed too.it was flooding most likely.the angle you were climbing and bouncing around at is not what the edelbrock was for...good luck and have fun....Loko[:D][8D]0 -

Traci, the Gixer 1000 is probably a better overall bike than the Busa. You should come up this way, pick up Cubslover and Tori on the way, and then we can all go riding together.
Here's mine:
It's an '81 CB900C. Not as fast or as fancy as a Gixer, or a GS, but it has two wheels, and a big mill. That's all that I really care about.0 -

There is a lot of motorcycle history you are dismissing with that statement.
The GS1000 was the best performance bike of it's era. Ask Cat. His can still run with new bikes, and out perform a lot.0 -

Was at the local 7-Eleven Saturday when a Yamaha R1 pulls in. The guy that was riding it must have been at least 70. Everyone stopped doing what they were and looked at him kind of funny. When he got gassed up and took off he corked a wheely with the bike standing straight up at least 150' down the road and never let off of it. It showed me that it is true about people.. "You never can tell".0
