Ugly Guns

It always gives me a chuckle when a group of guys can come to an agreement that a gun is "ugly". I agree sometimes. It speaks volumes for our addiction.

Just what does make a gun "ugly"? It usually has absolutely nothing to do with "utility". It sometimes has nothing to do with the presence of wood stocks. Do you have a favorite "ugly gun"? What do you think makes a gun "ugly"?

    Give us an idea of what you think is the UGLIEST current production firearm.

    Mine is the S&W 22 auto pistol. Frankengun is how I describe it. Did they assemble them out of left overs?

    Three riffles that I find to be hideous are every AR variant, G3/HK91, and Remington Nylons. I don't own any of those and I really don't pla on owning them either.

    Ugly ?? The Ruger P series autos, all the Ruger revolvers, the Colt 2000 whatever, S&W 745 ' all Webleys.

    There are lots more that I think are ugly - and MANY more ugly rifles than handguns.

    There are lots more that I think are ugly - and MANY more ugly rifles than handguns.

    What's so ugly about it? This is a 16ga, but same design as the 12.

    ...and any of the 1911 Colts, just butt ugly they are...may rate right up there w/the high-point...[;)][xx(]

    Well, theres ugly and theres not beautiful...

    easier to come to agreement on whether or not a gun has beauty, than it is to agree on hte lack of beauty.

    Hey Bigtire it maybe butt ugly but it is fun fun to shoot, I shot my son's last night on the range and 3 guys came up and asked to shoot it. I think if they can find them they are sold.Fun fun gun butt ugly but fun[:D][^][:p]
