I'm real partial to my Jukar flintlock but for speed, nothing beats my 1850 Colt Army rep. I can get off twelve rounds a minute nd better ith an extra cylinder. 0 -

Glock 22, 3rd gen.
I'm sure not everyone will agree with me but I've held a lot of pistols and nothing feels as good to me as this gun does. The finger grooves and indent for your thumb just naturally feels great to me. I'm sure you know but I mentioned the 3rd gen. because this was the version that they changed the grip and added the light rail.
I'd get one with an adjustable sight, like this one. This is my home defense gun right now which is why I have the Streamlight on it.
Out of the box, it's not bad. Had to buy a plug to go in the bottom of the grip so clips don't get caught and it keeps lint from going up into components.
I decided to upgrade to a custom stainless barrel. The factory spring and guide rod are pretty cheap. I bought an aftermarket, stainless guide rod with an 18 lb. spring that reduces muzzle flip for it. Takes quite a bit more to rack the slide but it's worth it IMO. The wife can't even pull it back. (I guess I'm safe from that one. [;)] )
If you can get used to the trigger pull (which can also be modified from 5 lb. to 3.5 lb with a different connector [;)] ) and the raised safety lever in the middle of the trigger, it's a very comfortable and fun gun to shoot.
All the weight is in the slide and the barrel. The bottom half of the gun probably weighs barely a few ounces, even with the light attached.
Really an easy gun to disassemble and clean also.0 -

What about a Steyr M series for it's Low Barrel Axis in rapid fire/double tap situations?
(I already own a Glock 23, and Beretta Cougar and think they're Great...I'm looking for 1 more of a different maker...with accuracy, dependabilty with low muzzel flip!)
