did not apply myself & wasted time with a lot of smart people...could have done so much more as had the highest class score on IQ tests used at that time...but i did it my way

Typical School works best for developing mid range IQ's....
Repetitive lessons annoy higher IQ kids and they tend to lose focus, often falling behind or even failing...

I got off to an early start. I asked my dad how to make wine. He said to put some sugar and yeast in grape juice.
I got a bottle of Welchs grape juice, and put sugar and yeast in there. In a week I had a bottle of wine.
I took it to school and drank it in the lunchroom, at lunch, with my buddy.
    I was ten years old.

    Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug
    Makes you wanna holler "hi-dee-ho!"
Burns your tummy, don't ya know
    Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug

Grape wine in a mason jar
    Homemade and brought to school
By a friend of mine and after class
Me and him and this other fool
Decided that we'll drink up what's left
    Chug-a-lug, so helped ourselves
    First time for everything
    Umm, my ears still ring

    Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug
    Make you wanna holler "hi-de-ho!"
Burns your tummy, don't ya know
    Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug

    4 H and FFA
On a field trip to the farm
Me and a friend sneak off behind
    This big old barn
Where we uncovered up a covered up
    Moonshine still
And we thought we'd drink our fill
And I swallered it with a smile
    Brrrrrrr....I run ten miles

    Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug
    Make you wanna holler "hi-de-ho!"
Burns your tummy, don't ya know
    Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug

    Jukebox and sawdust floor
Something like I ain't never seen
Heck, I'm just goin' on fifteen
But with the help of my faneglin' uncle
I get shuck in (I get snuck in)
For my first taste of sin
I said, "let me have a big ol' sip..."
Brrrrr....I done a double back flip

    Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug
    Make you wanna holler "hi-dee-ho!"
Burns your tummy, don't ya know
    Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug

That is a good one, tobefree! Damn I was living out the Roger Miller song. Never realized that. This occurred in about the same year that this song was a hit. Maybe I was subconsciously corrupted by listening to Roger Miller in fifth grade.

I didn't do this, but how about this? One of the first grade teachers in my school has a SMOKING body. She's also a great teacher with a background in special education. In first grade, by and large all the kids are there in the regular classroom, nuts and all.

Well, this one kid John is a total nut. Very, very smart, but anxious, wild, difficult, just off the wall. This lady used to have a heck of time with John during story time. All the rest of the kids would sit quietly and listen, and John would just go ape. He couldn't keep his hands off the other kids, he'd poke them and pinch them and on and on. So one day she sits him next to her and tells him that she has nice new shoes on, and that he can play with them during the story.

And John sits there and traces the stitches and presses on clasps and traces the heel and all is peaceful. Problem solved. And so every day at story time John would plunk down right next to her and she'd start reading and sometimes he'd fiddle with her shoes and sometimes with the seam on the sleeve on her shirt or whatever. As long as he was fiddling and tracing, he'd sit quietly and listen to the story.

Well one day the class sits down on the story rug and she starts reading away and John is running his finger up and down the seam on her sleeve, and all the sudden John slides his hand over and gives her boob a gentle squeeze. She doesn't break stride, keeps right on reading and takes his hand and puts it on her shoe and he goes to fiddling with that.

After class she went to the office and with a laugh told the principal that John had felt her up, that she'd talked to him after story time, and that if any parents called it was no big deal.

This teacher tells me this story at a party, and I'm standing there discretely checking out her large, perky chest and gorgeous fanny, and I'm thinking to myself about all the good looking teachers I had growing up, and how I never, ever, even once thought that I might have been able to lean over one day and cop a feel and get away with it. I tell you what, when that John is 21 I'm going to buy him a beer.

Just the other day the school called.

Seems my oldest son was passing my youngest son in the hall and thought it would be fun to jab him in the back 3 times with a sharp pencil, so he did. Not very deep just enough to make three little blood spots. Youngest son tossed down his books and commenced to whipping oldest son. The principal said they were going to kill each other and trying to draw blood said they were throwing punches and cleared the hallway(he ain't seen them really fight).

Principal said if they had not been brothers he would have called the police. Asked if we wanted to handle it at home or should the school give them suspension-suspension would be a vacation to them so I said I would handle it at home. Been working them pretty hard and they are not happy right now. My oldest son really hates me right now since he is getting to do double the work.

As for me I did it all in school. Fireworks, sex, fights, vodka, beer, Copenhagen, smoking, the meanest thing was dumping the library card catalog out in a big pile on the floor.

Would heat up nickels on the Bunsen burner in Chemistry class and then toss in the back where someone would snatch up while still rolling. They would smile thinking they had scored change someone had dropped....Only for a second though. [:0][;)]

+1 I consistently scored in the 98th percentile on the NEDT and I'm sure I could have been the Valedictorian of my class if I had applied myself.

Fireworks and squirt guns rank right up there for "worst" in the spirit of the thread.

I'd bring squirt guns to school, sell them for twice the price, watch what teacher confiscated them, then I'd steal them out of their desk at lunch and sell them again.
