    Hmm--my BM is rock solid...

    Wait. Let me rephrase that.

I have a Star BM that has been nothing but reliable. For a $130 pistol it's a nice piece.

Worst pistols...S&W 1006--it shot about 6" low at 7 yds, no matter what ammo/bullet weight...that, and and my 1st Para 14-45 Limited; couldn't make it through a full mag to save it's life. Recently picked up a second one, and it shoots just fine.

An RG .22 Short revolver. Not much more than a cheap starters pistol. Still have it, would make a great "drop piece".[;)]

I had one of the Llama .45acp models years ago. It was a surprisingly good pistol, shot it a lot with zero malfunctions and good accuracy.

Never had one fail on me, but the least costly pistol i ever had was an H&R 9 shot .22 revolver. But even it was a fun pistol that never malfuntioned.

Worst gun I ever had was a Llama Mini-Max .45acp.It was a single stack and it WOULDNT feed any type of ammo reliably what so ever not even FMJ.Out of every single mag full It would malfunction atleast twice.I went through that for about 150 rounds thinking it would work itself out and it never did.Worst waste of money on a firearm to date for me.Will never buy another I know that.

Had a spanish copy of a smith & wesson model 36 called "el tigre" or something like that.

It didn't work, cylinder would turn but not lock up properly. You could probably get it to fire but because it was so out of time, I didn't dare because of the danger of lead spraying out of the barrel/cylinder gap.

Next worse was a RG Rohm, and it sounds like it wins the worst handgun of all time so far. I've had 2 or 3 of them over the years.

...Well guys, DUH! "El Tigre", "Rhom"...and ya'll thought these SHOULD function hunky dory?...[:D]...IF you want reliable, spend the big bucks and move up to a High Point or Jennings...live a little! Taste the FINE Wine!
Once you own a fine firearm such as one of these, you'll never go back...[;)]

Toss up between a Grendell P 30 and a Keltec P11. Grendell would not fire off a whole clip without jamming at least once and the Keltec would sometimes go click when I was expecting it to go bang. Both have new home elsewhere.

Intratec AB-10 and Intratec .22 sporter. Both jam-omatics. Got rid of them and made some money of them.

I'd have to say, aaahhhhh my daisy lever action bb gun. It shot to the left and not very far. But is was reliable.

Without a doubt the Sig Mosquito was the most disappointing gun I've ever owned followed by the Bersa Thunder 380.

    Hey Colt-

I did finally move up to Jennings and even once bought a AMT backup. The Jennings worked better than the AMT. I kind of liked them. I used to shoot them in my basement when I lived in town. I had one of those Outers target backstops and we would have little contests every once in a while. I even shot a few 38 specials in the basement also, into blocks of wood. I had the shooting bug bad.

Now I know the dangers of airborne lead and shoot off the back porch but the reason I had to shoot the cheap ones was so that I could buy this land and build my house on.

Now I can shoot whatever I want right out in the backyard. Even my Colts, but when I get to serious shooting, I get out my Smith's![:D]

I like the S&W trigger action better, since that is what I learned on. Keep watching-I may be selling some Colts off in the future.

High Point JHP 45 ACP. It is the biggest turd of a firearm money can buy. I'm going to weld up the barrel, remove the fireing pin, braze the slide closed, and turn it into a paper weight

A Llama minimax subcompact in .45 acp. I've had feeding problems with it from day one. Sometimes shoots great, other times mis-feeds 2 - 3 times per mag. Would love to carry it, but it's just not dependable. I currently have 3 other Llamas, and they all work great. Also had a 4th that worked ok, but treaded it in on a Para 12-45. Love my Llamas, all but the little one.

Taurus. New. Model 85 38 revolver. Jammed and locked up the cylinder shooting standard ammo.

Taurus. New. Model PT101 .40 S&W back to the factory 4 times and would never feed more than 2 rounds in a row regardless of ammo used.

Taurus. New. Model 94 .22 sent back three times would not eject empty cases no matter what ammo used.

Taurus. New. Model. PT908 9mm. First 4 shots, front sight fell off. Second 4 shots back sight fell off.

I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER TAURUS!

Really? Didn't shoot well, or did it attract too many pimps and hoes?

    Name the problem, it had.

Not the least of which was its' thrilling full-auto mode.

Back to Colt 3 times and never fixed.

Dealer traded me for a Lightweight Commander .45ACP.

I've owned a LW Commander - from it's beginning - and my sons (never sure which one)
has borrowed it so much I never know where it actually is! I could never hit anything with
it, anyway! I'm OK with the rest - that extra inch seems to mean a lot ... to me!

    Size matters.

I have a Smith & Wesson 14-4 that wouldn't shoot. I couldn't even aim the damn thing. Then I put a barrel and cylinder on it and it functions flawlessly now.
