In my second year I had a rather crappy RA so I made it my duty to mess with him. Every night after he had turned in for the night I would stretch newspaper across his door frame, form top to bottom and securely tape it. He got used to opening his door to a wall of newprint and every morning would burst through it on his way to class. After about 3 weeks of this I finally put a yard stick at eye level. About 0700 the next morning he attempted his morning breakout and all i heard was WHAP!!! He had a floor meeting, with a huge shiner on his head\nose demanding to know who done, just about everyone knew but they all kept their mouths shut. It was hilairous! He never did find out who did it![}:)][}:)]

There were these girls that lived down the hall from us that never locked there car doors. We popped the hood and wired their horn to their brake lights. Whenever they pushed on the brake pedal their horn would go off. You could hear their horn all over campus at every red light and train crossing.

    Pennying doors.

A twist to the saran wrap one was after school, when this fussy toolmaker bought a brand new Bridgeport. We stretch wrapped the base and slopped blue paint all over it. The other guy made me promise I'd tell him it was my idea.

He didn't say anything, just shook his head because he'd seen all kinds of stupidity from the employees of the business where he rented space. Then we apologized for it, "Geez, Joe, I guess we weren't paying attention." All had a good laugh when we peeled the plastic off and his new and yet to be used machine stood there as pristine as it had been the day before.

    hahaha

Expanding foam in mailboxes. (that foam you use for isolation or setting windows and doorframes). When the foam dries/hardens, it's almost impossible to open the durn mailbox. Depending on the foam, it will glue the box shut and need replacement.

While we were painting the corridoor walls - and a few didn't want to help out but would rather go drinking heavily - we papered/taped over their doors and painted the paper/tape so the door would dissapear.
In the dimly lit corridor - one of those drunkards slept on the floor in the corridor, and the other made a mess of the paper but got in.

    Saran-wrapped a pissoir.

Have filled a plastic bag to half full with shavingcream, slid the empty top part of the bag under the door and jumped on the shavingcream-filled part of the bag. Made a mess about 5 feet in..
Milkcarton works better and more powerfull - repeat if needed.

Swapped salt and sugar. Kind of lame, but salt in tea or coffe or on cereal gives one heck of a shocker.

Open the tank of a flushing toilet, flush the toilet to empty the tank.
Lift the ball that desides wether or not to fill the tank with water.
Pour 5 boxes of bakingsoda in the tank and release the ball to fill the tank and the bakingsoda/water will mix.
Then pour vinegar i the toilet-bowl and leave.
When someone flushes it - the vinegar/bakingsoda will mix and create an incredible amount of foam in a short time.

Friends of mine found some very slow fuze and a small signal bomb.
Put the whole thing in a port'a'potty at a concert and left.
The fuze must have been a few minutes, but once it went boom - the unlucly occupant was caught with his pants down. Litterally.
They said the two first to go in, was safe, but the third got hit. They grabbed the guy who got out before the guy who got hit - but he didn't have anything on him to light it.

Had some cartridges pulled apart and the shot exchanged with hard pressed down-feathers.

Waterfountain + a gallon of liquid soap/detergent... = loads of fun.

A couple of spools of fishingline, then tie it to everything in sight and create a litteral minefield in the room.. or spiderweb.
    Takes hours to get out.

We had the circuitbreakers and fuzeboxes on the corridors.
Sunday night when all are asleep, around 3-4-5AM - we'd cut the power for the livingroom (livingroom/bathroom were on one fuze, kitchen on another).
The livingroom is where most have their alarmclocks plugged in.

Shove talcum up the tailpipes of cars...

Shove talcum in one of those hand-hotair-driers.

I have one too about a dry chem/powder fireextinguisher - but that one went a little too far.

Massage-oil or similar stuff with extreme deep heat-function - smear on toiletseat.

Place a large order in a drive in - then leave the line.

I go to UPJ where they have the "Johnstown Flood". Because the doors open inward, they would lean a 35 gal trash can full of water against the door, knock, and run.

If a guy were to get engaged it was usual and customary to strip him naked write all over him in magic marker and poor all the leftover food in the refrigerator all over him.

Just don't pull this stuff on Huntingnerd's floor, he'll throw your butt in solitary!

[:D]I was waiting for the comments like that to begin. Very nice you seem comfortable insulting me sitting at your computer. I've said my piece and it's not going to change because of some insults happen to come my way.

Rules are rules; I didn't make them, it's just my job to enforce them if I'm aware they are being violated.

Sad when I have to say the same thing to adults as the college kids that haven't grown up yet and are still "experimenting and expressing their freedom."

Good for you Huntingnerd, Some of us need to act like adults around here.[^]

Changed their alarm clock to go off two hours later - spray painted the outside of their windows black - and ran painter's tape around their door crack ... during final exam week
    - as a pay back!

... they had to take make-ups the following week![:D][:D][:D]

I call B.S. on you, Zip. Big time. You are busted from the RA of GB E. of the M.

Painter's tape, and all adhesive tape products were not invented until the mid-1920s!

    I did these also:

I always enjoyed jamming pennies in between the door and the frame. Puts too much pressure on the latch that the occupant on the other side couldn't get out.

    quote:Originally posted by Huntingnerd33
He also filled up a mailer envelope with shaving cream and slipped the edge under the door, knocked and waited a few seconds then stomped on the envelope.

    quote:Originally posted by badwrench
Another good one it to take a few ketchup packets, poke a small hole near one eng and place the hole-up on the rim of the toilet bowl and acrefully place the toilet seat on them. Make sure the "bumpers" on the seat are restong on the packets. Next person to use the cludgie gets some ketchup on their buns.

    Plus:

Taking bottle rockets, putting them on the steam pipes that go from each heater in all the rooms and lighting them. They go a couple of rooms and then fall off and explode.

If someone was in the shower flush the toilets, this would take all the cold out of the shower.

When a guy is in the shower take his cloths, towels, trash cans, paper towels and anything he can use to "cover" himself with. Then have all the guys waiting in their rooms to heckle him about walking naked down the halls.

Remove the light bulb from a desk light, hit it on the base just so and replace it. If you hit it just hard enough it will blow when turned on.

Cover an inward opening doorway with paper and fill with anything you like, cans, Styrofoam peanuts, etc.

Take any flammable aerosol can and use a lighter to make a flame thrower. Heat up the door knob and knock.

One of my friends did this to another friend:

Friend #1 takes the springs off of the desk light of friend #2, the type that has two arms so you can move it around, and tosses them out the window. #2 gripees #1 says "It's ok we can get them on the way to class." #2 tosses #1's calculator out the window and says "It's ok, we can get it on the way to class. The window is on the 3rd floor by the way.

    Had this done to me:

After getting my car hit in the winter because of a foreign student not knowing how to drive on snow/ice and being on crutches with a sprained ankle and watching all kinds of crazy kids having fun sliding around the parking lot with their cars where my dads truck was parked, my friends come tell me to look out the window because my dads truck is sitting sideways in the parking spot now. I look out the window and sure enough it is. I PO'ed now and go out to the ice covered parking lot on crutches to look at the damage. I walk/hobble around it 2 or 3 times with one of my "friends" and discover no damage. He then says as he starts to run "We pushed it." The rest of my "friends are watching out the windows.

I lived at home during my miserable attempts at getting an education. The only dorm rooms I got into were in the women's dorms. I didn't usually have time for practical jokes since I was "pranking" like a jakcrabbit.

    Good times, good times.

I never stayed in a college dorm, but I had to stay in the dorm while in the police academy in Arkansas. Jamming a room door with pennies was a good trick.

I was in the academy in February and March, so it was cold, and people enjoyed a hot shower after being outdoors on the range or what have you. We found two good ways to make a hot shower more interesting. First was to simply flush all the toilets and urinals in that bathroom at once. The other was to take a small trash can over to the water fountain, fill it with COLD water, and then throw it on someone taking a hot shower.

A train track goes through the middle of the NCSU campus in Raleigh. At one point there are dorms near the tracks. Every few years some student will notice that the track is on a three mile grade. The students may then take up a collection to buy a barrel of grease. Volunteer students then grease the track through campus. The next train attempting to go up the grade is caught and ends up stopped on campus, with wheels spinning and laughing students on both sides.

The RR company (CSX I believe) then has to call in the repair train, pull the stuck train beyond the greased area and steam off the track. In retaliation, for the rest of the semester, all late night trains blow their horns while going through campus.

We had really old, like pre WWII, foam fire extingushers. When you opened them up there was a clear liquid in the bottom and a bag of a red powder at the top. When used properly the powder gradually flowed into the liquid to make the foam. We poured the clear liquid into the bowl of the toilet and the red powder was dissolved in the cistern. When the unsuspecting victim flushed the toilet he instantly got about 2 cubic yards of foam, plus whatever he deposited in the toilet, gushing out and filling the cubilcle.
We always stuck around to see the results, so we did a lot of detentions over that little prank.

Never did the college dorm thing, however did live in Army Barracks. I'm surprise no one has ducked taped someone to their bunks and hauled them out, or short sheeted their bunks.

On time a fellow soldier told me his dad was napping on the couch, so he took a hot dog and rubbed it around his dads mouth until he woke up. At that moment he hid the hot dog and was standing there with a big smile on his face and his schlong in his hand. You know what dad was thinking just happened. The guy said he never had a beaten so bad from his dad. [:D]

milk placed under a bed during the winter does the same trick.

This requires about three perps. Take a latex condom; lay it in the folded crease of a 2 X 3 piece of cardboard. While carefully supporting it, fill the condom with water from a tap. The condom can get really large (5" X 25" or so) without breaking. Tie off the filled condom. While still in the cardboard crease carry it to the victim's bunk. Carefully lay it between the sheets and remake the bed.

Most victims just get into bed and the water bomb explodes. A very few spot it, and try to remove it by hand and it explodes.

We used to put shaving cream in selected phone ear pieces. Then call the person and ask them to step out into the hall. Always worked great during finals week when everyone was running on empty.

The worst one ever pulled on me was a jerk down the hall from my buddy's room lit a string of 100 firecracked and kicked them under the door. I still have a small burn mark on my back from one of them. [:(!]

My wife's freshmen year in college as a joke she and some friends decided to "Decorate," their suitemate's car with gaudy fabric and pipe cleaners. They gained access to the interior and covered every surface with fabric of one sort or another. Unfortunately said suitemate had many outstanding parking tickets, and the decorations garnered attention from the university parking gestapo. Her car ended up being impounded and she had to pay nearly $500 to get it out of hock! They ended up feeling bad for her, and tried to explain that they decorated the car, "To cheer her up and make her laugh." LOL

Guy next door loved to wake everyone up when he came in drunk. Ran 2 dozen styrofoam cups thru the shredder, poured the pellets down the defroster vent on his car. Set on defrost, fan HIGH. Wait for the snowstorm the next morning, repeat as needed.

You guys are making me feel old - Back in my college days, we used Punch Cards to write computer programs on. The "Key Punch Machines" were full of "holes". We used to bring them back to the dorm by the pillow case load - and use the LP jacket slipped under the door trick to spread little tiny holes in a dorm room. I swear, you could never get rid of them.

Another thing we did was gain access to someone's shower and remove the shower head, insert a Lifesaver candy, re-install the head and wait for the fun!!! What a sticky mess with no way to wash it off.

The hazards of fireworks are greatly over rated.

Bottle rocket wars down the hall was a fun one. Breaking the stick, lighting it and throwing it into the shower was also fun.

Tape newspaper across the door all the way from floor to the top leaving about a foot at the top. Pour styrofoam peanuts or confetti or anything between the paper and door. In the morning when he opens the door all the stuff falls inside the room.

When one of the fraterity brothers pinned a girl the others kidnap him, strip him to his underwear and chain him to a tree "through" the inside of his underwear to the porch post of his girlfriends sorority house. Then you ring the doorbell like mad and get the girls to come out. The only choice is to stay chained or rip the underwear off to get away!!
