I have a winner, but first I want to thank all the entries and the folks for the congrats and kind words. And I had my wife the Sergeant Major, draw a name and she picked Matwor out of the hat, so Matwor if you will drop me a email we can get the transfer going. Yes, I finally did it! Check out my post count, and now I'm starting to feel like a veteran poster around here. Since you all have been great to me since the beginning, I have decided to give away a gun. It's nothing fancy, but it's new. I've had this gun listed in my auctions for quite some time. I get quite a few lookers, but no takers. This is a gun I ordered for someone, who wanted it for a kid, but the deal fell through. That'll learn me not to get the money first. [:D] Anyhow, here it is. It is a H&R Pardner 20ga single-shot shotgun. Here is a link to the auction side so you can view the gun:

Now for the rules:

1. This gun must be sent to a FFL, so make sure you have one lined up before you put your name in the hat.

2. You must have at least 250 post, and you can't be a troll.

3. You must specify why you need this gun.

4. You must post a photo of you holding this gun if you are a winner.

5. I'll stop taking entries Saturday noon central time, and will announce a winner Saturday night the 25th of August.

    I HAVE a shotgun, I wont lie, but its not too great at the whole birds ect (shes ranking up there in age..), So I use it only at turkey shoots. if I win, id use it for 'huntin.
    Thanks for the chance though, sarge! VERY VERY generous, if you need to talk to dad to OK it email him or such, (Tomahawk). Ill check the FFL deal tomorrow, but im 95% sure its all good.

    I need this gun for my kids for turkey season next spring as my Mossy 835 ulti-mag is way too much for them an I want to start getting them into some hunting![:D]

    We have young kids come out and the adult stocks are to long. It would be used for a couple small women and kids we have that would like to shoot.

    I need this so my 12 year old son can use it. My 8 yr old has a .410, and I've got the 12 ga., so this would be the perfect fit in the middle for the 12 year old.

    Nice giveaway sarge! Very generous of you. I do not qualify, and even if I did, my son already has his 20 gauge, and my daughter will be O.K. with the 410 and 22 for a couple years. So let somebody enjoy it that can really use it now! Congrats on the 2500 mark. By the way, can somebody tell me what the heck a TROLL is?

    Nice givaway sarge, this is the true spirit of the gun culture. I don't have enough post, but I am a hunter safty instructor. Just got home from a class tonight. The state furnishes most of our firearms for our classes.

    Nice! I could use a 20 GA scatter gun as the two 12 GA shotguns I have are a bit much for the smaller critters I stalk.[:D]

    I can find many uses for it. My Browning Gold 3-1/2 is a little heavy for good small game hunting, so I could use it there.

    I am trying to convince my sister to send her problem 6 year old to my place during long school breaks and possibly over the next summer. If he behaves, I will teach him archery and firearms use. This gun would come in mighty handy for that.

    I have invited SuburbanNoize up to turkey hunt with me in the spring and if he takes me up on it, I will need a shotgun for him to use!

    count me in on this. i could use this gun for my son. he's enjoys shooting with me but never come with when i shot trap. all i have is a 12ga for shot guns and they kick to hard for him.

    i have a few shotguns but all are semi auto and training kids with single shots is much safer. my father has a phesant preserve with clay shooting. this would be a good safe gun for them to learn with.

    FFL and Photo will be no problem
