NEW YORK -- Rosie O'Donnell took the Columbine high schoolshootings so personally, she fell into a depression that prompted her to take medication and hang upside down every day.
In an episode of "The View" that was taped to air Friday, O'Donnell said when gunmen killed 13 people at Columbine High School in Colorado in 1999, she felt as if it had happened to her own children.
She said that she "couldn't stop crying," and that she stayed in her room with the lights off and couldn't get out of bed.
O'Donnell said she improved after taking anti-depressants. She also found that hanging upside down from a swing for up to a half-hour a day helps her feel better.
O'Donnell will demonstrate her "inversion therapy" on the show. She also revealed that she has a disorder that makes her depressed in the fall and winter.

Crap...She depresses me ALL the time. I wish she would just continue to hang upside down in her house and not come out. That way she and I both would feel better.0 -

That can't be accomplished on land. The laws of physics just won't allow for it.
This has to be accomplished on water. They take one of those huge sea cranes and they just keep pumping ballast into the tanks as fast as possible to stop them from sinking or capsizing.
She should get together with Michael Moore. Those two wouldn't even be able to physically shake hands.0 -

Yea, she is so entertaining wanting to take all our guns away![:(][xx(][:(][xx(][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!]0 -
Hopefully if she tries this "Therapy" again, she
will do it the way she should and be suspended upside down
in a barrel of water for a half of day!

...hmmm, tragic events, fall and winter...all depress her, I guess she stays depressed pretty much year round [:p]; knowing that kinda brings a warm feeling to my heart...[^]

You know what? She spends all of her free time bashing you, me and anyone else who believes we have the right to defend ourselves and our freedoms.
She reaps what she sows. So, that sow sows. [:D]0 -
Sow what??

She contributed $250,000 (or, maybe it was $275,000) to that privately built and funded Veteran's Rehabilitation center that was recently opened.
What was your donation?0 -
Should of just offered her a banana while she was hanging upside down, that always works with the other orangutan's. 0 -

Bleeding heart? I think you're lacking a soul. [V]
I don't lack no sole expecially when I'm talking trash against someone who publicly say that they want to take my guns.
And for someone who has her kind of money if you figure on a percentage basis, I donate a bigger percentage of my income to various veterens funds than she would donate in ten years time!
She is a fat skinkin' slob that needs to learn to keep her trap shut and stay in her lezbo world!0 -
This is a progun forum, so we tend to bash antiguunners, no matter how nice their other qualities may be. That said, can you provide
information as to when and where Rosie donated money to veterans?0 -
Regardless of how much $$$ she has or has not given to vets, she is anti gun; therefore an enemy. 0 -

Funny, for someone that "spends all of her free time bashing me, you and anyone else about gun rights, or gun control", I was completely unaware of her stand on gun rights/gun control. Then again, I'm just a country bumkin living in the woods of Montana. [:D] Personally, I don't give a rat's rear about an individuals negative views on gun ownership. As I've made it very clear in many of my postings, everyone has a right to their own opinion about any subject (whether I agree with it or not). Just because she is pro gun control (or anti-gun), doesn't change the fact that she is a human being. She obviously has serious mental issues and I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with personal demons like that. Bashing on her mental health issues isn't funny. If you had mental issues (which you very well might from my take on your postings), I doubt that you would find it entertaining to know that people were bashing you for your position on a particular issue. If you are afraid of what Rosie conveys to her audience, get on a public band wagon and do your job to counter the damage that you believe she is causing. Otherwise, sitting aroung whinning about it doesn't help the cause one bit. I've personally spent hundreds of hours of my free time educating people about gun rights and why it's important to protect said rights. How many letters have you written to your state law makers about thier assault on your rights? How many people have you gone toe-to-toe with to explain your position on gun rights and educate them (in person, not hiding behind a computer screen)? My guess would be that you haven't. But then, that's my opinion. [^]
My my my. Aren't you full of love for your fellow man? [V]
I write plenty of letters to my state representatives. I do a whole hell of a lot more than "hide behind a computer screen." I talk to my representatives on the phone. I meet with them in person. I volunteer to help them during their campaigns. What is it, exactly, that you're doing from the backwoods of Montana, besides hiding behind your computer screen? And, for not being aware of Rosie's stance on guns, which is VERY public, what rock have you been hiding under? They get newspapers in Montana, and you obviously have access to the Internet.
From my posts here, you wonder about my mental status? What posts, exactly, can you refer to that shows I have a questionable mental status -- and please, don't refer to some of my what should be obvious jokes to shore up your lame psychoanalysis.
Sorry to bug you there, Hobbyguy, but I'm just as entitled to my opinion as Rosie (or you) are entitled to hers. I don't like the woman. I don't like what she stands for. I don't like how she treats people. And, I don't like how she uses her bullypulpit to knock down others who don't have a chance to refute her.
She's a hateful human being, or at least how she appears to be when she's in front of a camera.
So, yeah, I'll "hide behind my computer screen" to take potshots at her. Sorry, Barbara Walters doesn't give me an hour each morning. I do what I can using the resources I've got.
If you'd like to buy me some television time on network TV, I'll be happy to go toe-to-toe with her or anyone else of your choosing.0 -

First, the lacking soul statement wasn't directed at you git_r_done. It was directed at stanman for suggesting that I have a bleeding heart for Rosie O'Donnell's mental issues (which has nothing to do with her views on gun control). Second, as I indicated again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You have yours and I have mine. Are you more correct than I am? Sure, in yours eyes (but not in mine). Am a opposed to those that are pro gun control? Yes. Lesbians? No, it's none of my business (nor yours) and has nothing to do with the topic. I'm convinced that some people here just want to argue, regardless of the topic. "Trolls" for the lack of a better definition. You started this thread with the intention to go "trolling for conflict". Fortunately, I'm bigger than that. [^]
I was in no way trolling for an argument when I started this thread!
I allready know how 99.9% of the people on this forum feel about Rosie, and was just passing on information because Rosie will use this about herself to make an anti-gun point out of it.
Don't believe she will? Wait and see!0 -

The irony of this is that I have NEVER once watched her show. It's not something (talk shows) that interests me in the least and likely why I was unaware of her position on gun control. I know nothing about her (and really don't care to). With that said, perhaps I should hate her as much as the rest of you do? [;)]
Just maybe there is hope for you yet![;)]0 -

I was gonna say something like that. You beat me to it G R D. [:D]
But I will say this: I dont hate Rosie O'Donnell. I think she is pathetic and I pity her. But regardless of how deranged she may be my hobbies, Hobbyguy, are shooting, hunting, and gun collecting. Anyone who threatens my rights to enjoy those things is quite simply the enemy.0 -

Do you actually believe that she, or someone that works for her monitors sites like this?! If so, please provide me something to establish that as "actual" vs. paranoia. I just find it very hard to believe. Thanks.

I never said that was the case. I was informing the regular forum members is all.
And personally I hope (but really doubt) she has people monitoring our forums so she truely knows how much of a piece of trash we all think she is![;)][:D][}:)]0 -

Understood and I agree 100%. Knowing what I know now about the topic makes me wish that I could turn the clock back and rephrase what I'd written. I too feel sorry for her, but in a different way now. [;)]

Art,
I have to honestly believe she doesn't give a hoot about what we or any other gun-rights advocate says or thinks. She'll just make up her own stuff as she goes along.0 -

Actually, the above is more action than most liberals would actually take even if they physically had a chance to fight back against such crazy, manic gunmen and possibly save some of those innocent children.
In such a school or office or factory shooting, the liberal handbook advises to hide or run, be quiet, offer absoutely no resistance, and sometimes try to talk to the gunman. But do not fight back. Suffer, die if necessary, but do nothing until professional help arrives to save your pacifist ass.0
