NEW YORK -- Rosie O'Donnell took the Columbine high schoolshootings so personally, she fell into a depression that prompted her to take medication and hang upside down every day.
In an episode of "The View" that was taped to air Friday, O'Donnell said when gunmen killed 13 people at Columbine High School in Colorado in 1999, she felt as if it had happened to her own children.
She said that she "couldn't stop crying," and that she stayed in her room with the lights off and couldn't get out of bed.
O'Donnell said she improved after taking anti-depressants. She also found that hanging upside down from a swing for up to a half-hour a day helps her feel better.
O'Donnell will demonstrate her "inversion therapy" on the show. She also revealed that she has a disorder that makes her depressed in the fall and winter.

Yep all 70 million of us. And the ones that belong to the NRA like Tom Selleck should be hanged in the public square.
I think Rose fits the classic case of a manic depressive behavior model. Bi-polar to the max, that does seem to fit a bunch of liberals that I know, but I am sure the condition has nothing to do with liberal or conservative views.
Her arguements against gun ownership tend to be total knee jerk emotional, shrill, screaming tirades. There is no discussion and she has no patience with people who don't share her opinions. Plus she will not even let folks offer their views or opinions on her show if they don't share her views. She will talk over them, in full liberal hyper-drive.[:(][:(]
This is the primary reason she gets no respect from gun owners or conservatives on this forum.0 -

The funny thing is that we gun people could easily name about a dozen or more rich, (actually many, many more) powerful and/or famous people who regularly speak out against gun ownership for civilians but are in favor of police and bodyguards having guns.
Yet it would be hard to name more than one such person who speaks out in favor of guns for civilians. And still the great majority of gun owners will not part with a few measly dollars in order to join and support one of the very few national gun rights organizations that are trying to counter those rich, powerful people that are trying to take your guns.

It is all just more of the same intellectually dishonest rhetoric that allows them to color American and Judeo-Christian values in a bad light. Nothing more, it is smoke & mirrors designed to garnish sympathy so she can decide to blame "insert your conservative value here."
If she were truly concerned about Columbine, her mission in life should be to restore discipline and respect back into the youth populous of our country and to remove the liberal extremism and the culture war on America that is the root cause of such self-centeredness and self-absorption that allows the delusion of individuals to care for nothing but their own self-pity and self-aggrandizement. Their "gripe" is not the center point of their ideals, it is nothing more than an elitist permissiveness they use so they can usurp the "power" (such as the ultimate control used over those innocent victims at Columbine) they wish to wield.0 -
