give away, give away, winner, winner
i have in my hands a nc star 3x9x42 illuminated Reticle scope/w rings to give away, it was on a rifle i bought, other than two pin pr!ck marks on the shroud it is in great shape, last time i let someone look at it they left it on so if i cannot get a battery for it, you'll have to pick one up
it is like this one, but with reg rings not the ar mount in the pic

rules: 100 post, and to keep this sundays theme going
you must salute our law enforcement officers
everyone is welcome, next sat i will pick a full proof honest way to pick the winner
:edit was to make the rules a bit bigger for those who missed them, no salute no entry
WE HAVE A WINNER: LAIDBACKDAN
i was going to pick the winner by the power ball number last night, but we had to many entrants, so i did it with Fridays mega ball, and since we had more than the numbers allowed, i took the number and reversed it so i had a total of 64 possible numbers this way, the number was 31, reversed it is 13, laidbackdan was the 13th eligible entrant
sorry gap1916, marc1301, mp5shooter, sw357mag, and akfanatic, your entries did not give a salute, you where dq'd as i stated, i even enlarged the rules when you first replied hoping you would see it
bondia a 1 finger salute would have been a salute, and i would have had to accept it
dan send me an addy

Here's my salute to our people in blue. I was pulled over today on the way home. The female deputy told me she was pulling me over on a courtesy stop. The frame around my license plate was covering a portion of the expiration stickers. She asked for my license, registration and proof of insurance. During all this, I had been keeping both hands on the top of the steering wheel. Why? I have a concealed carry permit; and, was carrying. I informed her of that; and, told her where my weapon was located. She thanked me for informing her. Then she told me to SLOWLY give her my license and concealed carry I.D.. After she got those, she asked me to again slowly remove my weapon and pass it to her. Once she had everything she asked for, she went back to her patrol vehicle and did whatever she had to do on the radio. In a few minutes, she returned with all my things; and, told me I was free to go. She went on to tell me she had all the stuff to fix the problem with my license plate frame. So, she held the license plate for me while I used her multi driver to remove the frame. All in all it was a pleasant experience. She handled it professionally. At no time did she get an attitude because I was carrying a concealed weapon. She was even helpful in resolving the reason that I had been pulled over. One funny thing though, I had to explain to her (and another deputy) what Glaser safety slugs were. I hope this qualifies as a salute to one of my local sheriffs.0 -
I think just as highly of our law enforcement officers as I do our military personel! Which is very high!

instead of waiting for streets dept. local officer was out in tropical downpour, halfway to his knees in mud and debries clearing a clogged storm drein with his bare hands. it was causeing floding on a nearby street, so he remedied the situation himself to avoid further traffic problems.
NOW THAT IS DEDICATION TO DUTY!!0 -

One of my best friends is a K9 officer. I used to ride with him every weekend. He switched departments and I don't get to ride along anymore. It was awesome. We worked drug interdiction on I-40. He could spot a load of illegal aliens by the shape of the drivers head. I used to call him eagle eye. We would pull them over for a legal reason[;)] ,get consent to search, go through every part of their car looking for hidden compartments, if they had no dope or large amounts of money, we would chew them out and tell them to go back to Mexico, and let them go. We could have filled every jail in the county up with illegals every night. Most people don't realize how bad the immigration problem is, but on I-40 I realized it.[:(] So to my dear friend, and all other honest loyal police officers, I salute you and thank you. 0 -
Please enter me. Police officers rule! 0 -
I watched Officer James Mazza of the Milledgeville Ga. PD risk his life to save a guy trapped in a canoe in the rapids of the Oconee River.
I salute law enforcement officers.0 -
I admire the dedication of most policemen, and salute their chosen job.
You are really being generous with this one.

Toss me in...I salute our Peace Officers... 0 -
I have deep respect and appreciation for all my colleagues in the Sheriff's Office, the local police and our state police. Many of them I can count as personal friends. To all others elsewhere, they[we] must get [y]our respect just to put on that badge and uniform and walk outside with a bull's-eye on their[our] backs. Too many have died just for being a cop. Not many plumbers or grocermen get that kind of treatment.
BTW, I'd be pleased to have a shot at the scope. Thanks!0
