Who is in control of this country?

No single person or group. That's why they're so dangerous.

So Iran is the bad guys?

Have they invaded a country that was no threat to them, and caused the death of tens of thousands of people?

Yes, Iran is the bad guy and when they supply a terrorist cell a nuclear device, I hope they plant it under your unpatriotic ass.

Lotta armchair generals talkin' big 'round these parts.

The big excuse being "I done my time" (like a stint in the military was a prsion stretch) or "I've got other things to do" (shades of Cheney.

Walk the walk if you're gonna talk the talk. You're either signed up and putting your life where your mouth is or you're nothing but hot air.

You had better stop towing the party line and try to relate to the real world. Iran is training anyone they can to attack this country and kill as many of us as they can, and have trained many of the people who have killed many American soldiers. They are the "bad guys".

I know the democrats don't like to admit the truth, especially when it hurts their anti-Bush rhetoric, but you folks had better learn quickly, this isn't about Bush or politics. This is about hatred for all Americans, democrats included.

EMM - I agree with you on a lot of things. But I have to disagree with you here. I spent 5-1/2 years on a submarine. During that time I had less rights and less amenities than any criminal in a state pen. Honestly.

yes capt there is, but it is my opinion. you have to know who the tribes of isreal are they are, reuben, simeon levi judah dan naphtali gad asher issachar zebulun joseph and benjamin. now the tribe of joseph split into 2, ephriam, a company of nations. and manassah , a great nation . the british comonwealth and the united states respectivily. the state of isreal is mostly from the tribes of judah , benjamin, and levi. but isreal in prophecy means all tribes, see what i'm saying[?]

ah yes, "America is a friend of Israel."

Often times we like to think of it as "Israel is America's little buddy."

And are now able to sit back and tell others to die for propaganda purposes? Tell me, why is it that us damned civvies can't comment on military matters when you non-Hollywood types comment ad nauseum about the state of modern moviemaking?

As is, the question one can always ask is, "What have you done lately?"

There's a story from World War II about a Serbian veteran of World War I who was awarded for bravery in combat against the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In the closing days of the Yugoslav campaign he saw Germans placing demolition charges on a bridge spanning the Sava River.

And rather than say he had already put his money where his mouth was, he went into action once again and slipped past German sentries to disarm the charges, allowing the Partisans to enter the city quickly and rout the Germans.

How different things would have been had he said, like so many here, "I already served my time and did my duty."

You want something done? It's easy to tell someone else to do it, regardless of what you wore in your younger days.

I don't know why you all are getting your purple panties all wadded up for. Everyone knows its easier to buy a politician then to get one voted in.One raghead leader is dead and the other leader is dead or walking around some where in Afganistan. Are borders are wide open, and the ragheads are having their way, even here in the U.S.A. If we had nuked both countrys we would of got the ragheads attention. If that didn't do it we could of nuked the rest of them. Yup I like playing Monday morning quater back also.[:D][:(!][:(!]

Nobody claimed you cannot have an opinion EMM...but you really need to work on this complex that seems to keep coming back up.

And it is as I said. Danny is right. A civy cannot possibly every understand or relate with a combat vet...at least on that level.
