CCW vs CHL
Just curious, some of you refer to a concealed handgun license aa a CCW, in Texas we call them CHL. Our license are titled "Concealed Handgun License". What are yours titled? I assume that CCW refers to carry concealed weapon, but what does your actual license say? Just wondering.

Licensed to Carry or Kill
So, I guess mine is really an LCK, not a CCW.0 -

There are 104,000 licensed to carry in the state of Oregon. About 32,000 in the Portland area.
It was just in the local newspaper on Tuesday, I believe, telling folks that since the VT incident the applications have trippled.0 -
Mine says "Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms". I guess that's LCF. It expires in three weeks!! I guess I have to go to the courthouse soon. 0 -
My Orygun one says "Concealed Handgun Permit".
I called a close friend who is a LEO and asked if it licensed me to carry a big knife concealed.
He said "no", and if caught, I would go to jail.
Seems like very fuzzy logic.

Mine says "Michigan Concealed Pistol License"
But we here in Michigan, even instructors, law enforcement, ect. refer to it commonly as a CCW.0 -

You have to get a permit that allows you to go to the range or hunt. I think it's around $10 cheaper than the handgun license. Why anyone would get that one and not the full time license is beyond me.0 -

Indiana just made it where we can get a lifetime handgun license for somewhere around $125. Mines got another two years left on the four year license. We don't have to prove a need or go through any training (I think the training would be a good idea with some folks). 0 -

I'm not sure what ID says yet...I went to get my permit here and they said not to worry about it until mine expires b/c they honor every state's permit...told me not to waste my $$$0
