    I've got one for the motorcycle. I have trying to ride and find a new channel on long trips, so I hook the I-Pod up to the auxillery jack and don't have to mess with the radio. I like having only the music I like on it with no commercials. Better than even my XM radio.

    Dell gave me a free 2 gig Sandisk with the purchase of a new computer -- it's pretty neat, has a built in FM radio as well. I've loaded a lot of music, and listen while working in the yard.

    Why would I need an ipod when I got one of these:

    I have one and bought one for my GF. I use mine a lot. When I say a lot I don't mean walking around looking like an idiot in a store with wires hanging out of his head or walking down the street shaking like a chicken on crack. I have a 3hr drive to work most of the year and I have found this really cool thing called audio books [:)]. I use mine in the truck most of the time for music and audio books.

    In the summer I am usually on wildland fires and it is nice to have a few movies saved on my iPod to watch while I am really bored (I am a medic, it is good when I dont work). It comes in handy on airplanes or other places you are just stuck hanging out with nothing else to do.

    These were really interesting and surprising results.

    Wifey and Deanna have them, but I don't see that I have a need (or desire) for one.

    I don't have an I-Pod. I do have an mp3 player. Creative Labs 8GB. Son has a I-Pod Nano. I use it in my Jeep all the time since I cancelled my XM subscription. I like having all my music in one place.

    My truck setup is enough for me, as I don't feel the need for constant audio, or video, stimulation.
