    MVP,
What happened w/ Dallas on the 2 - What was the reason for not kicking the FG to win w/ 1:00 left?[V]

What a strange 4th quarter... Like Dallas was destined to lose.

    And I couldn't be happier.

Romo fumbled the hold for the FG and he was dropped on the 2 for the turnover.

Seattle ran the ball out, punted, and Dallas took over on the 50 with only 8 seconds left.

They panicked and or got gready but really choked. They should have won and I thought for sure they would when they were on Seattles 2 yd line at under 2 minutes to play and only down by 1point.
That was a great game for Seattle[:D]

They tried. It was 4th down, they lined up for a routine chip shot, snapped the ball, Romo grabbed and just about when he was getting the point down on the ground, it slipped out of his hands and fell. He tried putting it back up but it was too late. So he picked it up and ran for it but a defender caught him by the shoe laces and dropped him.
Dallas got the ball back one more time for a hail marry from the 50. Romo dropped the ball into a huge pack of peope but nobody tipped it up. The ball fell right in front of Glenn but he must not have even seen it coming down.
Ugly mess. I don't see Seattle going far either.

As soon as the Seahawks give back the money they and the crooked politicians stole from the taxpayer in Washington I will cheer for them.
Sense that will never happen I will not support the thieves.
Go Hawks and take the Mariners and Sonics with you.

It depends on who wins between the eagles and the giants on sunday, it all about who's seeded higher.

The Bears are seeded #1 so they play the lowest seeded team left after the wildcard round. Seattle is seeded #4 and Dallas #5. The Giants are seeded #6 and the Eagles #3. So if the Giants beat the #3 Eagles the #6 Giants play the Bears and #4 Seattle will play the #2 seeded Saints. The #2 seeded team plays the highest seeded team left. But if the Eagles beat the Giants the #3 Eagles play the #2 Saints and the #4 Seahawks play the #1 Bears. Sound confusing but it's really not.[:D]

Even though Dallas was at the 2 and botched the FG Romo still could have gotten a 1st down at the 1. It looked like wide open lane to the end zone or at least a 1st down but a great tackle prevented Dallas from advancing the ball

Dallas had invented ways to loose games over the past couple of years.

Two quarterbacks with similar stories, Romo and Rex "The King" in Chicago.
After their third games, people were lining them up for the Hall of Fame.
Now, they don't look so good.
Chicago's defense is great, but can they ride a mediocre rookie like Rex all the way to the Super Bowl?

I agree they need to look better, but also if you look at the history of the team they are not known for blowouts!

The seem to play just good enuff to win. Consequently it gets them in a lot of close calls like last night when Dallas should have been able to pull it out.

I look for them to step it up a notch next week.

I am hopeing for a Seattle vs. San Diego superbowl this year.

One thing is for sure, If Seattle is in it I will be going again this year to the big game, like I did last year. I have friends in the Seahawks organization who will get me in for the game.

I also am from the same town as Alex Spanos who is the owner of the Chargers, and have talked with him and his kids many times. They are very down to earth people who you would not know had money if you didn't know them. And they do millions in charity work in Stockton California every year. I remember when Alex bought the chargers he called it his 27million dollar toy! Of course the team is worth many times over that now, but that was a long time ago.

So You all can tell which teams I want to go!

there are few games where two teams play to lose the game.

    This was one of them[^]

    trc313 you are right.
Both QBs played like crap, for most of the game. Romo, for the entire game.
