losing to the Detroit Lie-downs last week must have taken the wind out of Dallas' sails.

I hope the Bears recover from last weeks sad performance with GB

Congratulations to Mike Holmgren and the Seattle Seahawks.

I'm sad that my 'Boys lost the way they did BUT I think that Tony Romo needed desperately to learn a valuable life lesson. Parcells told the reporters weeks back to NOT annoint him just yet but they did and it went to his head a bit. There was an old expression years back "Women make the knees weak" that trainers would beat into fighters' heads leading up to their matches. Right before the big Dallas collapse 5 games ago, the media was hyping Tony Romo as the new darling AND focusing/speculating on Carrie Underwood's repeated presence at the games and very "friendly" demeanor between them.

And so, I believe he started to showboat believing that he was actually THAT GOOD. His throws were increasingly inaccurate, he seemed almost panicky at times, as if he was succumbing to a self-induced pressure to perform and be great. Losing to the Detroit Lions was indeed inexcusable but a lot of that game rests squarely with the missing defense.

Last night's game - and I watched every single second of it - smacked of his overall lack of composure and game focus. Anyone can fumble a snap as he did - not crucifying him for that - but many of the throws he made or didn't make leading up to that were telltale IMO. A quarterback knows that there's a price on his head among the defenders but the greats hang in, make the throws and then get up off of the ground if they can.

I think he can be a very good quarterback but I seriously doubt he'll ever be one of the truly greater ones like Brett Favre, Payton Manning, Tom Brady, Elway, Marino, etc.

    Just my 2 cents.

I think anytime a game score is 21-20 you can't fault either team. There is no shame for either team, they both did good! It was a fantastic exciting game.[:0][:)]

I like to watch Green Bay play, Dallas loose and the Underdog win. [8D]
