Favorite Caliber?

I know this may have been asked several times, but lets bring it up again for old times sake.
1. What is your favorite rifle caliber?
2. What is your favorite handgun caliber?
3. What is your favorite caliber as far as dream gun or mystique of owning?
Also, what is your reasoning behind your favorite caliber?(EX. the game you hunt recoil, or cost of ammo, etc.)

    Rifle--35 Whelen, Handgun--44 spl, .338 ultra mag intrigues me. Must be sngle shot rifle, preferably Ruger #1.[:)]

    1. 7mm-08 - great deer cartridge.
    2. 7mmTCU - knocks down everything from silhouettes to wild pigs.
    3. 358 winchester - I used to have a Savage 99 in 358 win and I was stupid and got rid of it. Now, I would like to have a "brush gun" configuration (18-20 inch barrel) in 358 win. I would also like to have a 6.5mm BRM barrel for my Encore pistol.

    My favorite rifle caliber is the 30-06 because of it's versatility and world wide availability of ammo. My favorite pistol caliber is the 454 Casull. It's a handgun that'll drop a deer or a big bear. It's a real handful of confidence. My dream caliber is the new 375 Ruger
