    My problem with Paul!

He is no better than a Democrat when it comes to the current war!

I feel that we were justified in all our actions in Iraq and we did the right thing by going in there as we did!

The only mistake being made is that it is being run as a politically correct type of war which is preventing us from going it with full power and winning it! We need to quit worrying about what other countries think about us and take the enemy out and win!

Paul feels like the democrates in that we should just leave! The problem with that is if we do just leave millions of INOCENT civillians will be killed! Our forces there are truely helping the inocent people of that country and it would be immoral for us to abandon them!

    I will stay with Fred!

A vote for RP is a vote for Hillary

Paul is the Perot of 2008 and the only thing you can do writing in his name will be to help Hillary/Obama (The ticket, IMO) by taking away votes from Thompson (I pray he is the nominee)

I have no idea what I would do if Guliani gets the nomination. We can all move to Texas and get GWB to succeed from the union (Texas was the only state to vote itself in, can it vote out???).

I never thought the Iraqi people were worth redeeming and Saddam was what they deserved. Never saw Iraq as an Al Quaeda ally and if it was worth attacking my idea would have been to turn it into a glass parking lot with an oil faucet and then look around and ask who else wants some???

But, we are there now and finishing the job is far better than turning the area over to the extremist which will lead to a regional war at best and a global war at worst. Staying is the, unfortunately, best alternative

Vote for RP, Hillary will thank you like Billy boy thanked you for voting him in in 92 by voting for Perot.

"I feel that we were justified in all our actions in Iraq and we did the right thing by going in there as we did! "
    I feel you are ignorant.
We were right to go into Afghanistan, not Iraq.
We have changed our justification of Iraq so many times, and none of them are valid. Ron Paul speaks the truth, the problem is too many people have already bought the load of manure another politician has sold them, and don't want to admit they are wrong.

Even if we were right to go into Iraq, if you want "the gloves to come off", then issue a declaration of war. Ron Paul actually tried to get a formal declaration of war against Iraq. If we were going to go to war, then at least follow the constitution. How many republicans actually were behind a formal war declaration aside from him?

Do you support the suspension of Habeus Corpus like Thompson and the rest of the Republicans. The constitution only allows it in cases of insurrection (rebellion) and invasion. We have not been invaded(unless you want to detain Mexicans here illegally, people with valid visas don't count), and there is no rebellion. We argue they aren't prisoners of war, so the Geneva convention protections don't apply, and we ignore the constitutional protections.
If your candidate doesn't care about obeying the constitution, then the only reason he preaches gun rights, is in the hope of getting elected, after which he will gladly sign any gun ban that gets to him, like Regan and Bush Sr did.

Ron Paul is the only politician with a spine and a voting record to prove it, the rest are just giving you sound bites they know you want to hear, regardless of what they will actually do.

If you value your rights, vote Ron Paul.
    If not...... Sig Heil!!!

...Voting for Little Paulie is a wasted vote, oh wait, it's not wasted...it takes away from a Repub and helps the gun grabbin' (fact), commie health care loving, HUGE tax increase (promissed) the Nazi dims want.

...The clip I saw of him after one of the debates suckin up to the 9/11 conspiracy loons when he thought he was off camera and agreeing with them (or pandering to them??) convinced me he's a whacko.

Luckily the squirt wont get anywhere...[;)]

I can't tell, is that a smiley face winking in agreement?

or is it a play on my name basically saying "you suck", followed by a happy face to make it more polite?

78% of internet arguments are due to misinterpretation , and only 15% are due to made up statistics, despite the fact they make up 83% or all statistics on internet forums, such as the statistics quoted here.

How about someone who isn't a limp-wrist that will let themselves get kicked around all over the place by the Dems and Hillary Clinton? I'm sick and damn tired of the "new tone" and I'm tired of all the humility. There's nobody capable of defeating Hillary right now and I'm sorry but Ron Paul just isn't going to do it. At the end of the day it's going to bue Giuliani vs Hillary with their chosen VP's. It's pretty much too late for anyone to have a fighting chance and a couple people in an internet gun forum aren't going to change that so don't go calling me a "sheeple". I'm a realist. I don't live in Ross-Pero-esque la-la land. Now there's a man who never had a hope except to hand the election to the Clinton family.

I found plenty of Ron Paul quotes that really show what a LOON he is!

haha what a quack this guy is.

"One thing is clear: The Founding Fathers never intended a nation where citizens pay nearly half of everything they earn to government."

"Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms."

"The greatest threat facing America today is the disastrous fiscal policies of our own government, marked by shameless deficit spending and Federal Reserve currency devaluation. It is this one-two punch-- Congress spending more than it can tax or borrow, and the Fed printing money to make up the difference-- that threatens to impoverish us by further destroying the value of our dollars."

"Deficits mean future tax increases, pure and simple. Deficit spending should be viewed as a tax on future generations, and politicians who create deficits should be exposed as tax hikers."

"When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads."

    haha, what a loony!!!!

If Ron Paul won the Republican nomination, he would be a slam dunk for president.

The repubs have their core voters, the dems have their core, and then there are the swing voters.

Ron Paul has a way better chance of winning the swing voters than any front runner Dem. If Ron Paul wins the Primary (its ridiculous that people are saying Guiliani has a better shot), and is given the support of the republican core, the election will be his by a good margin.

The dems won't be able to use anti-war sentiment to win them the election, and all they will be powerless.

If Ron Paul wins the Republican Nomination, your gun rights are secure.

If any other candidate wins it, its still less than a 50% chance they will win the presidency, and even if they do, your guns aren't necessarily safe.

If you really are pro gun, Ron Paul is your best hope.

If it were put to a nationwide vote with 2 choices; Ron Paul, and Hillary.

Ron Paul would absolutely DESTROY Hillary.

For the Rest of you with your excuses of just being Realistic.
    Be realistic, face the facts.
Bush's approval rating is in the 30%s. The majority of Americans want to end the war (by a large margin).
No pro-war candidate stands a chance in a fair election (of course, if the elections are rigged via electronic voting machines, and your candidate becomes president, do you REALLY want them to be president that way?).

If anyone but Ron Paul gets the Republican nomination, you are giving the election to Hillary.

One thing we can all agree on is that no one here wants to see Hillary as president.

Ron Paul is your one chance to make sure that doesn't happen.

I urge you to vote for him in the republican Primaries.
If you don't support his war views, just do what almost every American ends up doing-> choose the lesser of 2 evils.

If Ron Paul wins the Party nomination, he wins the presidency.
If he looses the Party nomination, the party looses the presidency.

You can all feel free to quote me on this come election time in 2008.

Thank you for a actual response rather then the worthless drivel most folks throw around. I can respect your opinion on the matter. His weakest point to me is Iraq. To be honest I'm undecided. I beleive there is entirely to much smoke that has been blown around and not enough truth for anyone to be certain.

However where I support the man greatly is less goverment. Honestly if he gets president lets say and minimizes our goverment how can that play in his favor? Now the if another politician gets into office and they make goverment bigger I can definatly see where that would be in their favor. Power and money, without those two things most of our elected officials would not be politicians because that is all they are interested in. I have no faith in any politician that wants to errode more of my rights and privacys like every other politician has openly stated.

Your logic is off. Perot ran as a independant. Ron Paul is a republican and he has already stated he won't run as independant if he loses the republican nominee.

This was not directed at only you Wulfmann please apply this to all the people saying "durr a vote for Ron Paul is a vote for hilary".

First and foremost in my mind, is retaining our constitution and the rights that have been handed down by our ancestors. A president that respects and embrasses our constitution would be a big change for the good in my opinion. I will grant you he is extreme in some of his views, however all his ideas cannot happen in just one term. I think him becoming president will open peoples minds more and give them a different point of view then the stereotypical views our society has now. On our current path we are headed straight for socialism, and personally I'd rather die then to live in a society like that.

no, i came to the conclusion with the consistent polls that show over 70% of Americans disagreeing with the war.
