He owns beltfeds, a 10 car garage full of cases of ammo, and is out of town all the time so I don't have to perform my "wifely duties".

Here's your ideal guy:
0 -
Six foot or plus. Broad of shoulder, lean of flank.
Bedroom eyes. Preferably blue or grey. Hair, doesn't matter. Could be bald for all I care.
Musculature notwithstanding, he should look like he works for a living.
Intelligence is important. I want someone who can challenge me, not pander to me, and who sees me as an equal. He knows his limitations.0 -

I find it rather interesting that more men have responded to this thread than women, even though it was addressed to only women.....
Always knew there were some rather insecure men here...[}:)][}:)]0 -
Money doesn't mean a heck of a lot. Been with an engineer from Lockheed-Martin who was rich as heck, but one of the most emotionally disabled peopled I ever knew. 0 -

Duh!
rcrxs old lady, money don't mean a heck of a lot only when you have it. And as far as I can see, "emotional disability" is a two way game people like to play [}:)].0 -
Oh contraire, only the very secure ones would reply to this thread.
Lighten up, lady.... [:p]

Height 5'5" - 5'10", smooth chest and back, light to med. build. No redheads, slight wave in hair.
Manual dexterity a plus.
Smart enough to know when he's wrong.
Smart enough to know we are wired different.
In other words, pretty darn smart![;)]
Likes to eat, but won't Pork out.
Most important - Loves me for me!0 -

How about smart enough to know there should have been an adverb there, but savvy enough not to point it out[:D][:D]0 -
I guess I'm not what any of you gals are looking for. First I'm married, second I'm borderline bi-polar and have chronic high anxiety. The only thing that helps all of that is beer, smoking, or work. If I could do all three at the same time, I'd be golden. Oh, I'm also 5' 9", 200 pound muscular build not chiseled, with a bad back and arthritis in my right ankle. Definitely no where near a prise. 0 -
Nobody can be more perfect for me than my Larry. He is just wonderful. He is very smart.....and laid back (this helps a LOT when I am on the edge of exploding.) He likes guns. He is best friends with my brother. He is a family man that loves spending time with our three kids and is devoted to providing and protecting his family. He is tall...dark and handsome....and even on my horrific days he gives me big ole' hugs. 0 -
seriously, WTH is happening to this forum? 0 -
I thought for a sec you were talking 'bout me there, LF [:D]
You're very lucky, it's good to know there's happiness somewhere out there.0 -
I'm very lucky. He was my high school sweety and after coming back from the Navy and an "icky" divorce soon after moving back home....I swore I would never date another guy and I was going to live like the sisters on Walton's mountain (I just needed a still to make my moonshine.) Then Larry came by to visit. I had an insane crush on him when I was 15, 16, 17, and 18....and at 25 when he came to see me it wasn't long before we were back together and not a year later we were getting married.
I think we are just supposed to be together. Its not a fairytale....like everyone we have to work at it....but he is just perfect and puts up with me wonderfully.0 -

Totally true! That would be the smart thing to do. Unless requested to proof-read, the basic rule of thumb is--
Don't sweat the petty things, Pet the sweaty things---[;)]
Works for me!0 -
