Debt?

Just wondering if anyone here is lucky enough to be debt free? Hopefully I will be debt free in 3yrs.

    I was until recently when I bought two new vehicles. The house and all vehicles were paid for. It was very nice! I have not had credit card debt for many years and never will again.

    I should be able to have mine and the wifes student loans paid in 7 years and the cars in 4 years and then it is debt free again unless we decide to buy another house.

    don't know yet waiting on them to pull my winning pottery numbers lol not debt free but also not bogged down with bills i can put back a few c notes each month

    No, I still owe the State, Federal and Local governments.

    Think I'll quit working and go on welfare. Seems to be what they want.

    I've been debt free for a long time. Just monthly bills to pay. It's amazing how much money you have without a house payment. I charge everything on my credit card and pay it off each month.

    Only in debt on the house, no credit cards, no other loans.
    I'm one of those Dave Ramsey people. If I don't have the money, I can't afford it.

    Own my own LLC, all the equipment and trucks are paid for.

    Always have been debt free. We keep credit cards paid off - always. Buy cars and any other big purchases with cash and we aren't afraid of picking up a job here, or there, if we need an extra buck. The real secret was my father always held us to the '1/3 savings rule.' Worked for my brother and me, too.

    Right now all we have is our mortgage, But that's going to change in a couple of weeks. When the wife starts grad shool we will go from 2 incomes & one house payment, to 1 income & 2 house payments. The good thing though is that the second house we are looking at is a fixer-upper that we should be able to make a little on. I know that we will have some more debt when she's done with school.

    Yes and have been 99% of my life.

    Always saved for what I wanted and put what would have been wasted on finance charges into something that pays me.

    I guess it worked ok. Got to retire at age 42 with enough to take care of the family for the rest of my days and enjoy life a little.

    The only debt we have is the house but we got 25yrs left on that. at less someone cares to donate a truck load of $..... :)
